Stormers CPTThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 12th to 14th January including a 19/2 acca with @WorldSportsBet

It is great to be back after a lengthy break at the coast and I wish you all of the best for your punting in 2024.
I finished the year fairly strong with my Newsletter plays, but the reality of my holiday was rather different and while I didn’t bet very often when I did stick my neck out it tended to get chopped off.  Aside from one disastrous Saturday (thanks Leinster) there was no serious damage done and I am fired up and ready to take on the bookies.

THE HANDICAP
There is plenty of sport this weekend including a full house of rugby fixtures in the Champions and Challenge Cup and I caught up with Coil on last night’s THE HANDICAP and we ran through all 12 Champions Cup games.

SA20
I am also very excited about the SA20 that started on Wednesday although the first game only took place yesterday due to rain in Gqeberha for the opener.  I am,  (at least until I run out of steam), previewing each game on the YouTube Channel and Boylesports* are giving me a price boost on a  batsman or a bowler in each game and I am going to track progress to see if I can finish ahead.

There is a R250 betting voucher up for grabs in the comments, just predict the total number of 6s in tonight’s game – closes 17h30

THE 1 HANDED CATCH
What has really caught my attention though is the Betway* markets on the one-handed catch for spectators and I have had a go at the number of catches and also the ground where the most catches will be taken.  Two games down and 28 to go, we haven't seen a catch yet although there was certainly plenty of opportunities in Durban yesterday.
The betting is still exactly the same and this video explains why I have gone for under 8 catches and Centurion to be the top ground.
It really adds to the excitement of watching the game.

*If you don’t have a Betway account please use this link to open one and use the Promo code GFTG!

There is also the start of AFCON 2023 (or is it 2024?) and there are previews for this, the English Premier League, SA20 and the horse racing on the Goodforthegame home page.

TOULON TO KICK START 2024
Our bread and butter remains rugby and after chatting with Brendan on last night’s show there are quite a few games where I am going to get involved.

There are previews for the Bristol Bears v Bulls and Stormers v Sale Sharks on site, by my biggest fancy comes in the Toulon v Munster game, a Pool 3 clash.  Munster are sitting 5th on the table with 3 points with Toulon 6th with 2 points, but with 4 teams qualifying from each group there is still plenty to play for and looking at the other fixtures in the group, there is every chance that the winner of this match could move into 3rd spot.

Munster are really battling with injuries at the moment and I am expecting Toulon to put them away.
