The nice thing about fixed odds in betting is that when you lose by a big margin you still lose the same amount as if you just missed and that certainly was the case for me last week with my Sharks over 22.5 points. They were totally outplayed by the Bulls and the bet never looked a runner although I always held hope they might score some consolation tries. They only got 1, finishing with 10 points and I was pretty relieved that I am not currently involved in spread betting (although I am thinking of getting back into it soon).
