newsletterThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 20th to 22nd August and a 11/1 acca with WSB

I should have listened to the panel on my Handicap Show last week as Australia promised much, but failed to deliver against the All Blacks.
Three mistakes in the first half led to 3 New Zealand tries and the decision not to take a scrum when on the attack against 14 men after 46 minutes proved to be a fatal one to my handicap at least.

It was a bleak Saturday for me, but I bounced back nicely on the Sunday although I didn’t get to see the Western Province game finish as I was out on a jog, this week’s Citizen article is titled “Never break a promise”.

THE HANDICAP – OLD FIRM ARE BACK
I was joined by two of the old firm on last night’s THE HANDICAP “Rugby Chat that Matters” show, The Conductor and @HanrickSwart.  There was unfortunately no New Zealand NPC to talk about, but we did an in depth analysis of the Springboks v Argentina game as well as the 3 Currie Cup fixtures.
I am in agreement with them on the Boks match and have gone (-12.5) in the Boks v Pumas preview and The Conductor was particularly bullish on Argentina under 16.5 although I see the line has edged in this morning to 15.5.

SHARKS TO PLUNDER WEARY LIONS
The Best Bet comes in the Lions v Sharks match – click here for the preview
All 3 of us on the show liked the Sharks -9.5 and as stated in the preview the Lions should be out on their feet after a cray schedule. They are also bottom of the log and I like the Sharks team selected.
I was hoping for a Sharks points line but will post additional bets if any in the forum thread and just lump onto the handicap for now

BET: 6 units Sharks -9.5 at 17/20 at Sunbet
