Our winning run in the Newsletter came to an end last week when Leinster failed to deliver the goods against La Rochelle. At 17-0 up I was already mentally banking the cash, but credit to La Rochelle for fighting back and dominating the game.
Fortunately I had took some Leinster on the half-time handicap, but it certainly wasn’t enough to cover what was my biggest bet of the weekend and it turned out to be the first weekend in a while where the bookies had the edge on me.
THE HANDICAP
I was joined by Harry Jones and @HanrickSwart on Thursdays THE HANDICAP, our Rugby Betting Show. Harry was making the call from the airport lounge and had to bail halfway through Super Rugby, but we got to talk to him about the URC Final as well as the early Super Rugby matches.

MUNSTER TO MAKE IT SCRAPPY
It seems fitting that this weeks bet is in the URC final and one of the reasons for the late newsletter is I was torn between a few players (other reasons are my mind is in a spin with my daughters 21st and my sons final home rugby derby of his school career).
I have settled on under 48.5 in the Stormers v Munster final and a full explanation in the preview but in summary I am banking on the pitch, Munster slowing the Stormers down and the fact that it is a final
