LaRochelleThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 5th to 7th April including a 11/1 acca with @WorldSportsBet

I had every intention of sending a newsletter last weekend, but I just couldn’t settle on a best bet and in fact it ended up being a quiet betting weekend for me.  It is probably just as well as although I did okay on Super Rugby, the newsletter would have only come out on Saturday morning and would have covered URC and I suspect that the Edinburgh +7.5 would have been my play.

Anyway this newsletter is out nice and early and the reason is 2-fold. My long-time partner Chris Sturdy (Mackem) is flying into Jo’burg and we are going to have a much needed catch-up and strategy session to discuss where we go with the now 15 year old Goodforthegame.

I also fancy Fridays Super Rugby games and wanted to get them into the acca (you will have about 45 minutes to get on if you want to follow the ACCA).

Chris and I have been partners since 2009 and another reason for his trip is to catch the horse his wife has a share in, Summer Cup Champion, Royal Victory (newsletter readers will remember the 70/1 win fondly) running at Turfontein tomorrowChris touches on Royals prep in our Racing thread

I can’t wait as I have not been to the track in years and I would go high on whatever the total beers consumed spread is this weekend!

THE HANDICAP
I must say I really enjoy the combination of The Mossman and The Oracle on THE HANDICAP show and we had another cracker last night covering Super Rugby and Champions Cup games.
You can click here if you missed the show and if you are pushed for time, click here to jump straight to the best bets.

RUGBY BLOG POST
We have started what in essence is a Rugby Betting Blog for the weekend and all Super Rugby selections and the Champions Cup selections. It will be updated throughout the day and weekend if required.
The Bulls and Stormers games have their own previews and you can click here for Bulls v Lyon and here for Stormers v La Rochelle.

LA ROCHELLE TO MAKE AMENDS!
Last night's show was interesting as there was a split between the panelists and the live chat (click here to jump  straight to Stormers v La Rochelle chat) and I went into the show with a firm view of backing La Rochelle for the win. The Live chat agreed but Oracle and Mossman are on the Stormers.
I am going to stick to my guns. I don’t feel the Stormers are firing on all cylinders at the moment and La Rochelle won’t be following the traditional white flag on the road route common from French teams in my opinion given their proud record in this tournament.
La Rochelle to reverse the result of the group stage meeting in Cape Town and to take the win.

BET: 6 units La Rochelle win at 8/10 at WSB

11/1 ACCA starts at 08h05

I am getting this newsletter out early because I want to include the 2 Friday Super Rugby games in the acca
I am feeling good about this one (although would prefer Bulls overs to the -17 in the last leg but points not out yet) and will be going a full unit

BET: 1 unit at 11/1 at WSB
Use this Code to populate the slip 3911962

Under 60.5 Blues v Force at 10/11
Over 57.5 Rebels v Drua at 7/10
Over 46.5 Brumbies v Waratahs at 19/20
Bulls -17 at 19/20

Have a cracking weekend everyone, whatever the results I know I will.

Cheers
