cashThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 8th to 10th September including the opening round of the RWC

The Rugby World Cup is here at last!

It has been a hectic week of video previews and written previews and while I wouldn’t change it for the world I am absolutely exhausted.

I have decided to send a daily newsletter during the group stages (Fri-Sun) covering thoughts and bets for that day.

THE 7-1 BENCH SPLIT
Perhaps the most draining has been the admin on “The 7-1 Bench Split” SuperBru Pool where at the time of writing we are sitting at 130 confirmed entrants all of which have paid their R500.  That means we are going to be looking at a first prize in excess of R30,000.

If you are not involved yet click this link to enter and make sure you send your proof of payment to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..   21h00 South African Time is the deadline.

THE HANDICAP
It is a great pleasure to welcome BETXCHANGE as sponsors of THE HANDICAP for the duration of the Rugby World Cup.  The show will now go out at 12h00 pm every Friday so as not to clash with Thursday nights Rugby

Betxchange have bee partners with us at Goodforthegame for years and it is great that they have upped the ante and joined us on the show.

Earlier today I was joined by the The Understaker and @cornflakeBTP from New Zealand.  We had a quick look at the Outright Betting and then chatted through all 8 games.
I will be posting links to each game in one of the comment boxes below the video tomorrow morning but for now if you missed the show click here

YOU TUBE

There was plenty of YouTube content put up this week including a France v New Zealand preview where I take a look at some of the BetXchange price boosts.

I caught up with Playabets Ambassador, Stefan Terblanche to get his fancies earlier in the week.

Last week’s Outright and Exotic’s preview with Couch Critic and @HanrickSwart is still getting plenty of views.

There will be plenty of videos coming over the next few days and weeks including a live show tonight at 19h00 with the Oracleclick here to set a reminder for the France v New Zealand betting build up

COUCH’S CORNER
We are also previewing each and every game of the Rugby World Cup on Goodforthegame and Couch Critic is writing for new kids on the block Boylesports (Click here to open an account) and his first match preview covering Friday and Saturday games was posted this morning.

4k WORTH OF BETTING VOUCHERS
Back to SuperBru and our free pool has grown nicely with over 600 members and thanks to World Sports Betting for the voucher prizes. (Click here if you haven't entered yet)
Make you check out the WSB Predictor Game

HEAT TO STIFLE FLOW OF POINTS
It is amazing how many people I know either in France or going there and I must say some envy has set in.
By all accounts it is scorching hot in Paris and even at kick off it is likely to be mid 20’s.

I went with the draw at 25/1 in my preview for GFTG and added under 49.5 points using the Betxchange Booster and getting 1/1 – look down the menu for “Special (R5000 max)”
The 49.5 has come down to 47.5 and while I still fancy that I am going to follow Hanrick on under 5.5 tries albeit the price has also shortened

I still have to complete all of the previews and they will all be on the Goodforthegame home page

BET: 5 units under 5.5 tries at 4/6 France v NZL  Sportingbet*
*If you don’t have a Sportingbet account please use this link to open one

That’s it for now folks I will be back in the morning and will also have Chris horseracing play “One for the Weekend”

Have a good one!
