ARSENAL VS BOURNEMOUTH, SUNDAY 15:00
Arsenal and Bournemouth meet in north London on Sunday in what should be an end-to-end encounter. Unai Emery’s side is 4th in the Premier League table, while Eddie Howe’s Cherries are in 7th place. Arsenal fans may have been expecting more at this point, but the Gunners has made one of their best starts in years and will only improve from here. Bournemouth has been excellent going forward and deserve to be in the top 10, they will be hoping to cause an upset at the Emirates this weekend. Both teams rely on their goal scoring abilities rather than defence and it’s doubtful anything will change this weekend. Emery made a number of changes for their Europa League game on Thursday evening, so expect their best 11 to be ready and rested for Sunday’s match. Howe will know they have more than enough fire power to threaten Arsenal at the back and will be expecting his side to play on the front foot.
ARSENAL:
Sunday’s game will be Arsenal’s 3rd game within 6 days, which is not a very good look for the Premier League. On Monday night they drew 1-1 away at fellow top 4 challengers after a very cautious approach by both teams. Arsenal could have won that game if they were more positive going forward. Not counting Liverpool and Manchester City, Arsenal has impressed the most out of the traditional top 6 and are yet to fire on all cylinders. Their expected goals statistic this season: xGf 1.69 and xGa 1.85, just showing how open their games have been and that they were lucky in some games to get all 3 points. Team News: Lacazette will once again miss this weekends game. Arsenal needS a big performance at home to get the fans behind Emery and the team, this weekends fixture will give them that opportunity.
BOURNEMOUTH:
As expected, the Cherries have once again been fun to watch this season and have scored in every Premier League game. Their problems will always be at the back because of the exciting football Howe wants to play and I’m sure Premier League fans won’t complain at all. This has been our most profitable team this season and hopefully they get us to the winner’s circle once again. Howe is being touted as the next manager to get a “big club” job for his style of play and his ability to get the best out of players. This will be another chance for the Cherries to entertain us. Their Expected goal statistics: xGf 1.59 and xGa 2.11, this is truly unbelievable for the Premier League, but expected from a team like Bournemouth. Team News: The big injury news this week for Bournemouth is that Fraser and Wilson are unlikely to feature this weekend and their impact will defiantly be missed, though neither is 100% ruled out. Bournemouth knows they will need to score goals this weekend to keep up with Arsenal.

PREDICTION:
IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN. This is potentially a very square play and looks statistics based, but I can’t stay away. Bournemouth has been conceding goals for fun when they travel away to the big six, conceding 3 or more in 15/24 games. Howe won’t change his style of play for this game and I expect Arsenal to once again punish Bournemouth. Last season Arsenal scored 5 goals in the fixture and I won’t be surprised if that happens again. I expect the Cherries to start regressing soon and Sunday might be that game. Aubameyang should score a couple of goals here and hopefully get out BEST BET over the line once again this weekend. Come on you Gunners!
