Spurs have not been able to keep up with Arsenal`s form and have now drifted 4 points away from 4th place. Conte`s side managed to withstand the pressure at Anfield last week, giving the Reds just one point with Son Heung-min getting himself back onto the scoresheet. Although Tottenham do not struggle to find the back of their net, their defence can be in question as they managed to keep just 1 clean sheet in their last 7 home Premier League games and the streak in unlikely to end against an in-form Arsenal side. To their advantage, Arsenal`s backline has also been slightly shaky (conceding at least 1 goal in their last 7 Premier League games) which will give the dangerous duo of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane ample chances to potentially secure a victory.
Arsenal
Arsenal has kept an impressive winning streak, although with fine margins. The Gunners have now pulled-off consecutive victories against Chelsea, Manchester United, West Ham and Leeds that secured them a comfortable spot, and even if they are to lose to their London neighbours, they will remain in the Top 4.
Additionally, they have scored 11 goals in just 4 previously mentioned games and their attack has been quite successful as of recent. Eddie Nketiah can be the man in attack to keep an eye on, having scored a brace within just 10 opening minutes last week against Leeds. Contrastingly, their defensive line has been rather questionable, as previously stated having conceded at least 1 goal in their last 7 Premier League matches. The stakes will be high at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and having dealt a blow to Liverpool`s title race, Tottenham are certainly a threat to the Gunners` shaky backline.
Verdict
Tottenham have now showed they are able to deal an upset to their opponent`s aspirations as they did against Liverpool. Although their form has not met the standards to get them in the Top 4 just yet, Arsenal`s slim victories and gaps in the defence can potentially be the turning point in their winning form.
