The Lions have their last dry run before the main event whilst France and Australia look to settle the score. New Zealand continue battling their neighbours whilst the Argies will hope to get the job done against a weakened Welsh outfit.
New Zealand vs Fiji – Saturday 17 Jul @ 09:05, Hamilton
Despite Dan Coles dining out the Fijians gave their big cousins a proper work out in their opening encounter. It might sound like a strange thing to say given that they managed 9 tries but the hosts will be looking to be a touch more clinical this second time around.
Fiji, as usual will be out to entertain and I find it touch opposing the islanders who always play with plenty of heart and passion. I’ll settle for a couple of exotics punts in this one.

Australia vs France – Saturday 17 July @ 12:00, Brisbane
In the first test the Aussies tole the result at the death. In the second it was the French who were able to keep their noses in front. We head to Brisbane for the decider and for some reason I just have a feeling the Aussies finally click into gear this time around. In both games there were glimpses of what the Wallabies are looking to bring to the game but it just didn’t quite work out for them. I’m hoping things change on this occasion.

The first test absolutely went down to the wire but it was the visitors who caught the eye given the fact that they spent the majority of the game playing with 14 men. With stalwarts like Montoya and Matera in their ranks I’m happy to back the South Americans to get the job done at the second time of asking.

It’s Gatland’s last opportunity to fine tune his tactics ahead of the first test. The visitors lacked some of their growl against the SA “A” team mid-week but I’m expecting the Lions to be back to their slick, efficient and ruthless best in this final prep game. Luke out for Duhan van der Merwe and Josh Adams to add to their try-scoring tallies against a young Stormers side who fill find it tough to keep things tidy in this encounter.
