everton1819Our English Premier League treble for Saturday 18th January includes tips for Southampton v Wolves, West Ham v Everton and Newcastle v Chelsea with the odds boosted by @Olimp_SA

Last weekend we were agonisingly close to landing our treble at enhanced odds of 6.20. Our win bet, Everton, obliged at home to Burnley, both sides found the net in the Leicester v Southampton game but our over 2.5 goals leg came up short as Wolves and Newcastle played out a 1-1 draw despite 2 very early goals.

Our record now stands at 4 successful trebles from 9 attempts, we stick with the same format this weekend, all 3 legs take place on Saturday and the odds have been boosted to 7.75

Leg 1 Southampton v Wolves

For much of the first half of the season Southampton looked to be relegation contenders but their fortunes have turned around dramatically. Last week they were 2-1 winners away to high flying Leicester, the team who hammered them 9-0 in an earlier home fixture. That was the fourth win in the last 5 for the Saints who are now in mid table. Home form had been their big problem but they did beat Spurs here recently, keeping a rare clean sheet in the process.

Wolves are 3 points better off than Southampton but they have been below par in 2 league outings since the turn of the year, a 2-1 defeat at Watford and that 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle. However Wolves have found the net in 20 of their 22 league games and boast some useful away form so a return to wining ways shouldn't be ruled out.

The first meeting this season finished 1-1 and this match gets the vote as our both teams to score leg.

Prediction: Both teams to score

Leg 2 West Ham v Everton

West Ham won their most recent home fixture 4-0 against a Bournemouth side who have been in freefall. They couldn't follow up last time out when losing 1-0 at

Sheffield United in controversial circumstances and David Moyes now takes aim at one of his old clubs with the Hammers just 1 point better off than third bottom Aston Villa.

Everton came through for us at home to Brighton last week and by all accounts they were value for a wider margin victory than the final scoreline of 1-0. They had been stunned by Liverpool's kids in the FA Cup but recent league form is solid. The last 7 EPL matches have delivered 4 wins, 2 draws and just the 1 defeat which came at Manchester City and the Toffees are comfortable in mid table.

Everton won the earlier meeting this season 2-0 at Goodison Park and they look much more organised these days. The visitors are our match result pick in this weeks treble.

Prediction: Everton to win

Leg 3 Newcastle v Chelsea

We finish at St. James Park where we pin our hopes on a game of 3 goals or more.

Newcastle will be delighted with the point at Wolves last week which brought a 3 match losing sequence to an end. They return to home turf where high scoring games have generally been thin on the ground with an average of just above 2 goals in total per home fixture. However Leicester did win 3-0 here at the turn of the year and this weekend Chelsea come to town.

Chelsea beat Newcastle 1-0 in the first meeting this season but it's their away record which is of more relevance here. Backers of over 2.5 goals have collected in 9 of 11 Chelsea road trips and Lampard's team have kept just the 1 clean sheet on their travels.

You have to fancy Chelsea to be in the goals and given their defensive record Newcastle could also contribute to the scoring. It would be something of a disappointment if we didn't see at least 3 goals in this game.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
