wolves1819We focus on the English Premier League for our football treble on Saturday 7th March and once again the odds have been boosted by @Olimp_SA

For the second week in a row we were let down by the final leg of our treble last Sunday. Both sides scored in the Spurs v Wolves game, over 2.5 goals arrived in the Villa v Man City match and everything hinged on El Clasico later in the evening. We went for the draw but Real Madrid ran out winners.

Our record now stands at 5 successful trebles from 16 attempts and we keep the same match result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score format for this weekend. All 3 matches take place on Saturday 7th March and the odds have been boosted to 5.80

Leg 1 Wolves v Brighton

We start at Wolves who gave their top 4 finish hopes a boost with a 3-2 win at Spurs last weekend. Wolves also won their most recent home game 3-0 against relegation threatened Norwich and they come into the weekend program level on points with Manchester United and just 3 points behind fourth placed Chelsea.

Brighton lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace last weekend, it's now 8 games without a win and they are right in the thick of the relegation battle. They have played some good football at times this season but the pressure is mounting now and 8 of 14 road trips have ended in defeat.

Wolves ought to crank up the pressure on the likes of Chelsea, Man United and Spurs who all have tough games this week. The home win is our pick here.

Prediction: Wolves to win

Leg 2 Sheffield United v Norwich

Sheffield United were not in action last weekend but although they slipped down to eigth position they are just 5 points off a top 4 spot and they have a game in hand. Most of their recent home games have come against sides in danger of relegation with the following results; Brighton (drew 1-1), Bournemouth (won 2-1), West Ham (won 1-0), Watford (drew 1-1). The only clean sheet there came against West Ham who were very unlucky to have a goal chalked off by VAR.

Norwich boosted their hopes of survival with an excellent 1-0 home win over Leicester last week but they remain bottom of the standings, 6 points from safety and with the worst goal difference of the relegation candidates. They have really struggled for goals away from home this season, finding the net just 6 times and clean sheets are hard to come by when they travel.

Although those Norwich goal scored stats have to be of some concern we are getting to stage of the season where they are going to have to start chasing games, Sheffield United have absolutely no reason to hold back and this could be a higher scoring match than the fixed odds markets suggest.

Both teams to score is our pick here.

Prediction: Both teams to score

Leg 3 Arsenal v West Ham

That leaves us looking for an over 2.5 goals bet to complete the treble and we pin our hopes on this London derby delivering.

Arsenal are starting to put it toghether with a 7 match unbeaten run in the league. They did flop in the Europa League last week and that puts more pressure on them to finish the domestic season strongly and make sure they are playing European football again next season. The Gunners were in the goals in their 2 most recent home games, a 4-0 win over Newcastle and 3-2 victory over Everton.

West Ham ended a 7 match run without victory when they saw off Southampton 3-1 in a home game last week. That result kept them out of the relegation zone though they remain in deep trouble. Four goals or more have been scored in 4 of the last 6 West Hame league games and we only need 3 here as over 2.5 goals is our pick.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
