BettingDiaryThe English Premier League is back into action on Tuesday and we take a look at all 4 matches from a betting angle.

CRYSTAL PALACE v WEST HAM

Palace are 13th on the table and have only won 1 of their last 5 matches. Last time out they were hammered 4-0 at Manchester City and their last home game was a 2-0 win over Sheffield United.

West Ham are currently 7th on the table, they are unbeaten in their last 5 and are coming off 3 successive victories, most recently a 2-1 win against West Brom at home. Their last away game was a 1-0 win over Everton.

Crystal Palace 43/20

Draw 23/10

West Ham 27/20

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 17/20

This game just gives me the feel that there could be a few goals and looking at the head-to-head stats, the last 7 meetings between the sides has seen both teams find the back of the net.

NEWCASTLE UNITED v LEEDS

Newcastle are 16th on the log and are on a terrible run that has seen them take just 1 point out of their last 5 matches and they have lost 4 in succession. Their most recent defeat was a 2-0 away loss at Aston Villa on the weekend and they are also battling at home having taken 2 points from the last 9 they have played for.

Leeds are 12th on the table, but are coming off back-to-back defeats at home to Brighton and away at Tottenham. Leeds matches in the EPL have averaged 3.6 goals each, the highest in the Division and 11 of the 18 matches have delivered for over 2.5 goal backers.

Newcastle 28/10

Draw 28/10

Leeds 19/20

Suggested Bet: Newcastle win at 29/10

While I am not overly confident of Newcastle winning I do think that the home team are worth backing at the price against opponents showing signs of faltering.

SOUTHAMPTON v ARSENAL

These sides met in the FA Cup on the weekend with Southampton coming out on top. They are locked very closely together on the EPL table with Southampton in 10th and Arsenal 11th, 2 points behind, but with Southampton having played a game less. Southampton are coming off a 2-0 victory at Leeds and have only won 1 of their last 7 matches.

Arsenal have been in excellent form in the League, winning 4 and drawing 1 of their last 5. Last time out they beat Newcastle 3-0 at home and their last away game was a 4-0 hammering of West Brom.

Southampton 43/20

Draw 12/5

Arsenal 27/20

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 8/10

This should be a tight affair with nothing much between the sides and Southampton’s last 6 games have had 2 goals or less in them.

WEST BROM v MANCHESTER CITY

West Brom are battling at the foot of the table in 19th position and they have taken just 1 win in their last 5 games. Last time out they lost 2-1 away at West Ham, but they did beat Wolves 3-2 on the road prior to that, their last 2 home games have seen them lose 4-0 and 5-0.

Manchester City are 2nd on the table with a game in hand over Manchester United. They have been in excellent form in the League winning their last 6 games and they beat Aston Villa 2-0 at home last time out. Their last away game was a convincing 3-1 win at Chelsea.

West Brom 13/1

Draw 6/1

Manchester City 1/5

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 23/20

West Brom have conceded 9 goals in their last 2 home games and with City approaching rampant form I am confident we will get plenty more in this one.
