BettingDiaryWith the series locked at 1-1 the West Indies and South Africa do battle at the National Cricket Stadium St George’s in Grenada on Tuesday in the 3rd of the 5 match T20 series. We suggest a few bets in the game.

West Indies had few problems in chasing 161 to win in the opening T20 and they eclipsed the Proteas 1st innings total with 5 overs to spare and 8 wickets in hand.

West Indies won the toss in the 2nd T20 and sent the Proteas in and they could only muster 6 more runs than they did in the 1st T20. Temba Bavuma top scored with 46 at a strike rate of 139 and there were also good contributions at the top of the order from Hendricks 42 and Quinton de Kock 26.

Given that they were scoring at 9.6 an over entering the second half of the innings, it was ultimately a disappointing total and chief destroyer amongst the West Indies bowlers was Obed McCoy getting 3 for 25 in his 4 overs and putting the brakes on the South African innings.

The West Indies got off to a flyer, but the fall of their 1st wicket, Lewis slowed them down and in the end they could only muster 150 for 9 to lose by 16 runs. Opener, Andre Fletcher was top scorer with 35 at less than a run a ball and there were some lower order heroics by Fabian Allen with 34 runs off just 12 balls in a losing cause.

Lungi Ngidi took a bit of tap in his spell, but the bowlers generally returned good figures and Rabada with 3 for 37 was the top wicket taker with special mention to George Linde with 2 for 19 in his 4 overs and Shamsi produced another excellent spell with 1 for 16 in his 4.

THIRD T20 BETTING – Click here to bet

West Indies 7/10

South Africa 12/10

Suggested Bets:

First Innings Score over 171.5 Runs at 9/10

There looks to be plenty of runs in this track, but aside from the West Indies chase in the 1st T20, the batting line ups just haven't put it together and I am betting on the fact that we get a big 1st innings score in this one.

Player to score the most 6’s, Lewis at 5/1

Lewis failed to find the 2nd T20, but if he could find the form that he showed in the opener this 5/1 is going to look like a very generous price.

South Africa Match 6’s over 5.5 at 17/20

The Proteas don’t clear the boundaries as often as their West Indies counterparts, but if the lower order and the likes of David Miller can fire on Tuesday, this looks a fairly low line.
