CWC SouthAfrica150The third One Day International between South Africa and Australia takes place at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on Tuesday and at 2-0 down with three to play the Proteas are up against it.

 

 

 

Australia carried off a 3-0 clean sweep of the T20 series at the start of this tour and they have South Africa under the cosh in the ODI's

 

The first 2 matches were staged at Bloemfontein and Australia won the series opener last Thursday by 3 wickets. South Africa were bowled out for 222 with Bavuma making 114, Hazlewood took 3 wickets. In reply Australia were in trouble at 113/7 but Labuschagne (80) and Agar (48) took them home with almost 10 overs to spare.

 

On Saturday the contest proved to be of the one sided variety. Australia posted a whopping 392/8 ( Labuschagne 124, Warner 106). Quinton de Kock, Bavuma, Klaasen and Miller all made scores in the mid to late 40's but nobody kicked on and SA were all out for 269 with Zampa taking 4 wickets.
