wanderersThe third T20 International between South Africa and West Indies takes place at The Wanderers on Tuesday where a series win is up for grabs.

The first two matches of this three match series were staged at Centurion and it's honours even at one win a piece.

The first contest on Saturday was reduced to 11 overs per side due to rain and West Indies came out on top by 3 wickets. The Proteas posted 131/8 (Miller 48) with the wickets shared around. West Indies got home with 3 balls to spare largely due to Rovman Powell's unbeaten 43.

On Sunday the Proteas squared the series with a thrilling 6 wicket win in a record breaking run chase. West Indies posted a massive 258/5 in the full 20 overs with Johnson Charles smashing 115. The most recent T20's at this venue came in April 2021, both against against Pakistan.

South Africa lost the first of those matches by 4 wickets with Pakistan chasing down the 189 victory target with 1 ball to spare for a 4 wicket win.

The second contest saw Pakistan post 140/9 and South Africa chased it down with 6 overs remaining for a 6 wicket victory.
