CWC SriLanka150The second T20 international between Sri Lanka and India takes place in Colombo on Tuesday and the India are 1-0 up with two to play

This is a 3 match series with all the games taking place at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and India drew first blood in the first T20 with a 38 run victory on Sunday.

Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bowl first on Sunday and Chameera removed Prithvi Shaw with the first ball of the innings. However India put on 50 for the next stick and their skipper Dhawan made 46 whilst Suryakumar Yadav top scored with 50 in their total of 164/5. India cleared the ropes 5 times and Chaameera (2/24) and Hasarange (2/28) were the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers.

Sri Lanka's reply was on 23 when they lost their first wicket and although Charith Asalanka made 44 no other batsmen made it to the 30's. Asalanka hit 3 of their 4 maximums and they were all out for 126 in 18.3 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled 3.3 overs and returned figures of 4/22 which earned him the Man of the Match award.

The Verdict

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was easily the top Indian bowler on Sunday but Yuzvendra Chahal returned figures of 1/19 and if the hosts take chances against him in their bid to square the series he may welll collect more wickets this time around.

Nothing else really stands out in my book but I will chance Sanju Samson as top India bat after he got a start on Sunday with 27 off 20 balls, coming at number 3.

Bets: Top India wicket taker Yuzvendra Chahal at 28/10

Top India bat Sanju Samson at 7/2
