Maharaj returned figures of 2/30 from his 10 overs, the stand out bowling performance for the Proteas.

The top 4 in the Proteas batting line up all made runs with Markram top scoring with 96. Temba Bavuma was on 38 when he had to retire hurt and the Proteas grip on the run chase started to loosen. The Verdict

The Proteas let a strong position slip on Thursday and need to win both remaining matches to win the series.

I'm open minded about this one but on the betting side I'm very sweet on Dm De Silva to beat a player performance quote of 39.5 points.

Additional interest comes in the shape of Shamsi, who was below par on Thursday, to bounce back with at least 2 wickets.

Bets: Player performance Dm De Silva over 39.5 points at 17/20

Total Wickets, Shamsi over 1.5 at 11/10
