CWC SouthAfrica150The Proteas tour of Sri Lanka concludes on Tuesday when the third T20 International takes place in Colombo and South Africa are aiming for a clean sweep of the series.

Sri Lanka won the ODI series at the start of this tour 2-1 but with the World T20 coming up the main focus is on the shortest format and South Africa won the first two matches by margins of 28 runs and then 9 wickets.

A series win was assured with the minimum of fuss on Sunday when Quinton de Kock's unbeaten 58 saw Sri Lanka's woeful bat first total of 103 all out reached in just 14.1 overs. Earlier Markram and Man of the Match Shamzi claimed 3 wickets a piece and Kusal Perera top scored for the hosts with 30.

The series opener saw the Proteas bat first and they posted 163/5 with Markram (48), Hendriks (38) and de Kock (36) the chief contributors wwhilst Hasaranga was top SL bowler with 2/23. Despite an unbeaten 66 from Dinesh Chandimal Sri Lanka could manage only 135/6 in reply with 5 different Proteas bowlers picking up 1 wicket. Markram was named Man of the Match.

We remain at the R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and this was how the sides lined up on Sunday.

The Betting

Sri Lanka are currently trading at around 14/10 to win the game and South Africa can be backed at around 11/20

Sri Lanka are 27/20 to hit the most 6's with the Proteas 15/20 and a tie is 15/2

The highest first 6 overs total market has Sri Lanka at 11/10 and South Africa are 8/11

The Verdict

With the World T20 imminent there should be no letting up from the Proteas who look hard to oppose on the evidence of those first 2 matches.

There may be a temptation to make a few changes with this being the final game and with spin the key it could be tough for batsmen. A highest individual total of under 62.5 runs is my main play.

For additional interest I like Hasaranga to be top Sri Lanka bowler

Bets: Highest individual total of under 62.5 runs at 17/20

Top Sri Lanka bowler Hasaranga at 11/4
