CWC SouthAfrica150The third T20 international between West Indies and South Africa takes place in Grenada on Tuesday and the series is all square at 1-1 with three to play

All 5 of the matches in this series will be staged at National Cricket Stadium, St Georges, Grenada and we begin with a recap of the first two matches.

West Indies won the opening match on Saturday by 8 wickets, restricting South Africa to 160/6 (van der Dussen 56 not out) and chasing it down in just 15 overs with Evin Lewis top scoring with 71.

The Proteas kept faith with the same starting XI for the second match on Sunday. The same pitch was used but the result was very different as the visitors squared things up with a 16 run win. South Africa posted a bat first total of 166/7 (Bavuma 46, Hendricks 42) and although Rabada was leading wicket taker with 3, it was the spinners Linde (2/19) and Shamsi (1/16) who kept the West Indies in check.

Evin Lewis is top run scorer in the series with 92, Bavuma has 68 and Fletcher has 65 and de Kock 63. Obed McCoy and Kagiso Rabada are leading wicket takers with 3.

This was how the teams lined up for the second T20.

West Indies: Evin Lewis, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Kieron Pollard (c), Andre Russell, Jason Holder, Dwayne Bravo, Fabian Allen, Obed McCoy, Kevin Sinclair

West Indies are 9/20 to hit the most sixes and 8/10 to post the highest first 6 overs total

Evin Lewis is 11/4 favourites to top score for West Indies and Quinton de Kock is 9/4 favourite to do likewise for the Proteas

The Verdict

In our preview of the first T20 we highlighted Rassie van der Dussen as the value in the top SA bat market and he obliged at odds of 9/2. Although he didn't get going in the second match on Sunday there might still be some mileage in sticking with the same bet even though the current price is a touch shorter.

Whether the same pitch will be used again was not clear at the time of writing but either way I will chance Shamsi as top SA wicket taker as the Windies may need to go after the Proteas spinners who strangled their run chase on Sunday.

Bets: Top SA bat Rassie van der Dussen at 4/1

Top SA Wicket Taker Tabraiz Shasi at 7/2
