Croatia clash with Scotland in European Championship Group D in Glasgow on Tuesday and both sides need a win to give them a chance of reaching the knockout rounds.
Croatia
Croatia and Scotland have just 1 point to show from their first two matches. Pre- tournament Croatia were second favourites to top this group but after losing their first match to England (1-0) at Wembley they had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw with Czech Republic at this venue on Friday.
Perisic equalized for Croatia early in the second half of their match with the Czech's but they couldn't find a winner. Another draw here would leave them on 2 points and most likely an early exit, a win and a final tally of 4 points should be enough for at least a best third place finish although that will depend on the results from other group matches.
To qualify for the last 16 via any method Croatia are trading at around 12/10
Scotland
The Scots are in a similar predicament to their opponents here although they have an additional handicap of a -2 goal difference, 1 inferior to Croatia's. That means victory here is non negotiable if they are to make it to the last 16.
Although Scotland have failed to register a goal at these finals there was an awful lot to like about the way they went about Friday's trip to Wembley to face
England. A 0-0 draw was an excellent return and you could argue the Scots were unfortunate not to take all 3 points from a game they started at around 9/1 to win.
If Scotland do come up short they will point to a 2-0 defeat to the Czech's in their opening match at this venue. They also had chances in that game, hitting the woodwork and forcing a couple of very decent saves from the Czech keeper but 2 Czech goals either side of half time were their undoing.
In the outright betting to reach the last 16 under any method Scotland can be backed at around 2/1

Croatia are trading at around 1.33/1 to win the game with the draw at 5/2 and Scotland can be backed at around 19/10
A game of 3 goals or more is priced at even money and it's 0.83/1 for both teams to score.

Croatia and Scotland have managed just 1 goal between them in this group so far but the circumstances here lead me to believe we will see goals.
Both teams need a win and I'm going for over 2.5 goals
