Czech Republic and England meet at Wembley in their final European Championship Group D match on Tuesday and any winner here will finish top of the group.
Czech Republic
Czech Republic have 4 points to show for their efforts so far and they top the group courtesy of a marginally better goal difference than England.
Czech Republic won their opening match 2-0 against Scotland in Glasgow thanks to a goal in each half from Patrik Schick. On Friday Schick scored the opening goal against Croatia from the penalty spot and the Czech's were 1-0 up at half time but Croatia were level soon after the restart and there was to be no further scoring with the game ending 1-1.
It's highly likely that 4 points will be enough to gain at least a best third place finish but if Czech Republic win this match they will finish top of the group and a draw will mean they finish in the top 2 and definitely above England.
In the outright betting to top Czech Republic can be backed at around 11/10
England
England remain at Wembley where they have earned 4 points from their first two matches and they let favourite backers down last time out when they played out a 0-0 draw with Scotland. It was a poor display from England who, bar a first half header that crashed against the post, struggled to create chances and they were reliant on good goalkeeping to keep a clean sheet.
England's opening game came against Croatia and they deservedly won it 1-0 with Raheem Sterling scoring the decisive goal on 57 minutes.
In order to finish top of the group England must win this game, if they draw they will go through as runners up.
In the outright betting to top the group England are 13/20 favourites and to win the tournament they are trading at around 17/2
Recent Head to Head
These teams met in the same qualifying group for these finals. At Wembley in March 2019 England were 5-0 winners with Raheem Sterling scoring a hat trick.
The return in Prague later in the year was a different story with both sides scoring inside the first 10 minutes and Czech Republic found the winner 5 minutes from time.

Czech Republic are trading at around 13/2 to win the game with the draw at 5/2 and England can be backed at around 6/10

The Verdict:
England need to get that performance against the Scots out of their system. They were OK against Croatia and a repeat of that display should be enough but they
are under more pressure than the Czech's who are no mugs.
England scored 5 against the Czech's in that Wembley qualifier, I don't see a repeat of that but I think we will see goals, hopefully 2-3 in total regardless of who comes out on top.
