England clash with Scotland in European Championship Group D at Wembley on Friday, victory would put England in the last 16 whilst Scotland need to take something from the game to keep their own qualification hopes alive.

England
England's opening game came against Croatia at Wembley on Sunday and they won it 1-0 with Raheem Sterling scoring the decisive goal on 57 minutes. England
hit the post through Phil Foden early on and although possession was pretty even and both sides were awarded just 1 corner they were full value for the win with Croatia rarely troubling their defence.
Wembley is the venue for all England's group matches including a subsequent clash with Czech Republic, the only side to beat them in qualifying.
In the outright betting to win the tournament England are trading at around 6/1 and they are 11/4 to reach the final.
Scotland
Scotland's return to a major tournament finals ended in disappointment when they lost 2-0 to Czech Republic in Glasgow on Monday. They had their moments including hitting the woodwork but missed chances, a couple of very decent saves from the Czech keeper and 2 Czech goals either side of half time were their undoing.
The Scots, who came through the play offs to qualify for these finals, now have a mountain to climb if they are to make it to the last 16 with a game against Croatia still to come.
In the outright betting to win the tournament Scotland can be backed at around 200/1.

Recent Head to Head
The most recent meetings came in World Cup 2018 qualifiers and England won 3-0 at Wembley and the return finished all square at 2-2.

The Verdict:
Scotland won't be short of motivation but this is a big ask on the evidence of the opening group matches. I fancy goals with England to win a match of 3 or more in total one option that caught my attention.
Although they didn't get an early breakthrough England came flying out of the blocks against Croatia and a similar start here would have Scotland on the back foot and quite possibly behind on the scoreboard and chasing the game. England to score in both halves is an alternative.
