PolandEuroSweden clash with Poland in European Championship Group E in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday, Sweden currently top this quartet whilst for the Poles it's win or bust.

Sweden

After playing out a 0-0 draw with Spain in a game where they had just 15% of possession Sweden moved to the top of the group standings with a 1-0 win over Slovakia at this venue on Friday. A penalty from Emil Forsberg on 77 minutes earned Sweden the win and they come into the final round of matches 1 point clear of Slovakia, 2 better off than Spain and 3 in front of Poland.

Sweden have yet to concede and at the other end of the park young striker Alexander Isak has really caught the eye. With 4 points we should see Sweden in the last 16 regardless of what happens here but they ought to be hungry to make sure they finish in the top 2 or even win the group

Sweden are 5/4 to finish top of this group and in the outright betting to win the tournament they can be backed at around 66/1

Poland

Robert Lewandowski kept Poland in with a shout of qualifying with a second half equalizer against Spain in Seville on Saturday. The Poles were 1-0 down at half time and they rode their luck later on with Spain missing a penalty in a game where defeat would have seen them eliminated.

Poland lost their opening game 2-1 to group outsiders Slovakia ata this venue. Goalkeeper Szczesny was unfortunate to concede an own goal on 18 minutes after a shot rebounded off the post, onto him and ultimately into the net. Early in the second half Linetty equalized for the Poles but the game changed again when Krychowiak picked up a second yellow card and Poland paid the price, conceding on 69 minutes and there was to be no way back.

To qualify for the last 16 via any method Poland can be backed at around 27/20

The Betting

Sweden are trading at around 18/10 to win the game with the draw at 9/4 and Poland can be backed at around 31/20

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 12/10 and it's 9/10 for both teams to score.

The Verdict:

The fact that Poland need a win suggests goals to me but Sweden certainly know how to defend.

I think 2-3 goals in total still has decent claims and if Poland are to score than Lewandowski is an obvious port of call, anytime.

Bets: Total match goals 2-3 at 8/10

Anytime goalscorer Lewandowski at 5/4
