European Championship Group C has produced plenty of goals so far and on Thursday Ukraine and North Macedonia bid to open their points accounts when they meet in Bucharest
Group C Betting Update
The opening round of matches in this group saw Ukraine go down 3-2 to the Netherlands and North Macedonia were beaten 3-1 by Austria. That leaves both these nations with plenty to do if they are to reach the last 16. Remember the are four best third place finish places available to reach the knockout rounds and

Ukraine
Ukraine had a tough looking first group match against the Netherlands in Amsterdam. The first half finished without a goal but Ukraine conceded twice in the opening 13 minutes of the second half. To their credit they hit back with 2 quick goals from Yarmolenko (75) and Malinovskiy (79) only for the Dutch to snatch a winner 5 minutes from the end.
The 3-2 defeat puts pressure on Ukraine to bounce back here ahead of their final group match against Austria who already have 3 points in the bank.
In the outright betting to win the tournament Ukraine are trading at around 80/1.
North Macedonia
North Macedonia came through the play off to reach these finals and even though they had pulled off a huge shock with a 2-1 win over Germany away from home in a World Cup Qualifier they are considered rank outsiders.
They fell behind in the 18th minute of their opening game against Austria at this venue but a defensive mistake allowed Pandev to draw them level before half time. It stayed that way until the 78th minute when Austria regained the lead and North Macedonia conceded again at the death to go down 3-1.
With the Dutch still to face another defeat here would make their chances of emerging from the group pretty remote and the odds for North Macedonia to lose all 3 group matches are around 9/10
The Betting
Ukraine are trading at around 13/20 to win the game with the draw at 28/10 and North Macedonia can be backed at around 4.75/1
A game of 3 goals or more is priced at even money and it's 21/20 for both teams to score.

The Verdict:
North Macedonia are full of spirit and passion but their defence was found wanting against Austria and I fear they might go the same way here.
I'm with Ukraine to score at least twice.
