The second action in the Indian Premier League on Saturday sees Kolkata Knight Riders host the unbeaten Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 10 and the match result betting suggests we could be in for a close game.
In the outright betting at the time of writing the Knight Riders can be backed at around 11/2 and the Sunrisers are priced at around 4/1. We have a whole host of tournament markets which can be viewed here.
The Knight Riders began their campaign with a 4 wicket win at home to a powerful Royal Challengers side. KKR were set 177 for victory in that game and Sunil Narine came out guns blazing with a 19 ball 50 to help his side eventually get home with 7 balls to spare.
On Tuesday KKR paid a visit to the Super Kings and it turned out to be a thrilling contest. The Knight Riders posted 202/6 batting first with Andre Russell smashing an unbeaten 88 off just 36 balls including 11 of his sides 17 maximums. However, KKR couldn’t hold the Super Kings in the chase and with the exception of Narine (1/17 in 4 overs) their bowlers suffered. Chennai got up with for a 5 wicket win with 1 ball to spare, denying KKR the chance to go top of the early standings.
Andre Russell is top scorer for KKR with 113 runs and although Narine has just 2 wickets he is going at less than 6 per over.
The Sunrisers have impressed with 2 wins from 2 matches so far. Their first outing produced a comfortable 9 wicket victory away to the Rajasthan Royals where they chased 126 for victory in just 15.5 overs with Dhawan top scoring with 77. On Thursday they hosted Mumbai Indians and another decent bowling performance saw the Sunrisers set a target of 148. They looked to be cruising at 73/1 before Mumbai fought back and at 137/9 the game looked to be beyond them. Deepak Hooda held his nerve and finished unbeaten on 32 and Sunrisers got the 11 required off the final over for a 1 wicket victory.
Dhawan is top run scorer with 122 in 2 innings, Siddarth Kaul has 4 wickets and the Sunrisers have used just 6 bowlers with the majority proving to be very economical thus far.

Kolkata Knight Riders 9/10
Sunrisers Hyderabad 9/10
Note: Prices correct at the time of posting but are subject to change
This is really good match up with a dangerous looking KKR batting line up pitched against a Sunrisers bowling unit which has been very impressive.
Marginal preference is for KKR given they have won at home once already and performed with credit in a narrow defeat at CSK but their top order will need to set a decent platform against a highly regarded Sunrisers attack.
