SEA FURY is well-related and the break clearly helped him record a much improved recent sprint effort. The bay gelding finished strongly to dead-heat for 2nd with subsequent winner Dynasty's Boy and he will be fitter now. Trainer Glen Kotzen's charge will enjoy the extra furlong on pedigree and he can build on that last performance.

MISS SMARTY PANTS failed to quicken in her first attempt over the mile in a strong field recently but she will no doubt prefer this slight drop in distance. The lightly raced bay filly had two smart sprints up the straight prior to that and that recent first experience around the turn would have brought her on.

WILLIAM THE BRAVE has been a revelation with blinkers and he defied his low merit rating when keeping going well to beat some fair sorts in a recent c & d graduation plate. Admittedly, his opposition didn't fare too well subsequently but majority of them contested a Grade 3 event. This son of Silvano is much better off in this handicap despite the resultant six pound penalty and top weight. He can complete the hat-trick of wins.
