ARABIAN DYNASTY is the mount of top heavy-weight visiting jockey Fayd'herbe. He set the pace in his last start over this c&d and was only caught on the line. He may well attempt similar tactics today and with the powerful urgings from his jockey he may prove to be difficult to overhaul.

HARD CORE has his peak run for his new yard and with stable jockey Cheyne aboard he is made the top selection. He raced wide from a poor draw in his last start but still finished a creditable second. His penultimate start over the c&d was also encouraging as he pecked at the start.

CLIFTON CRUSHER is lightly raced but did win his first start for his new trainer. That was on the poly but he has proven form on the grass in KZN so the switch back to that surface should not present too big a problem. From pole position and Hewitson riding he looks to be the one to side with.

DAME COMMANDER returns from a 11 week break but she has shown solid form since transferring to the Greeff yard. She only just got beaten in her last start despite racing wide and with the stable jockey taking the ride from a mid-field draw she could be the one they all have to beat. WATSONIA also hails from the same yard and could turn out to be second best as her c&d record is solid. She gets a good draw for todays contest and should give the top selection a run for her money.
