Race 1

ROCK N ROLL GIRL has shown good improvement in each of her outings to date. She raced from a handy position over 1200m last time, but found one too good in the form of Rugger Bugger. Her penultimate run when finishing third over this distance was encouraging. The daughter of Canford Cliffs is back against her own sex this evening and with the services of in-form 4kgs claiming apprentice Siphesihle Hlengwa, she should be the one to beat.

FORTUNE BAY has finished second in all four starts to date. She showed good speed over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, but was outrun late by Tabatha Cat. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

GUEST GETORIXX has good consistent form lines to her credit. She moved up like a winner over this C&D last time, but was caught in the shadow of the post by Stormz Power. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she may be rewarded for consistency.

Race 2

FIRE TONIC has produced three good efforts to date. He set the pace over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Sir Theodore. His penultimate run when second over this C&D was encouraging. He gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time which may do the trick. Stable jockey Sean Veale takes the ride and the pair may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

AERIAL DISPLAY showed good improvement in his last start over this C&D. The manner in which he stayed on at the business end that day was encouraging. The son of Pathfork is a progressive type and is one of the leading contenders.

MAJESTIC REIGN has run two fair races over 1200m on the Polytrack. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. The son of Time Thief should enjoy the step up to 1400m and from his good draw of four, he must be included in all bets.

Race 3

CHELSEA BLUE is the best bet on the programme. She stayed on at the finish over 1400m last time, but found one too good in the form of Edvige. The daughter of Canford Cliffs will be at home over the 1600m. She is a progressive type and from pole position, should take a power of beating in this line-up.

TELIO has decent recent form lines to her credit. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last outing has come out and won since. She gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming apprentice Malesela Katjedi which will help her cause. She has cracked a good draw of four and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

IF YOU SAY SO ran a good race when second over 2000m on this course, five weeks ago. She finished third over this C&D, three runs ago. Muzi Yeni steps back into the saddle and she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 4

FIGHT SONG lost two lengths leaving the starting stalls in the Listed Michaelmas Handicap last time, but the manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from eight starts on this course. Two of his four career victories have come over this distance and if jumping on terms, he should return to winning ways.

MR PIGALLE has produced two decent efforts since returning from a 15-week break. He carries a light mass of 49.5kgs and will be at peak fitness. The 5yo gelding is one of the leading contenders.

SPIRIT OF MY FATE stayed on when third over 1400m last time. He is better suited to the Polytrack, but is in a good space and merits obvious inclusion.

Race 5

MARIA COROLINA won a good race in her last start over this C&D. She took the lead at the 250m mark and kept going well to hold all challengers at bay. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. All four of her career victories have come over this C&D. She meets a similar type of field and can follow up.

LADY SERENA found betting support when winning her last start over 1400m on this course. She finished 1.05 lengths behind the top selection, three runs ago. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

LET IT SNOW has won three in a row over this distance on the Polytrack. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. The daughter of William Longsword takes a rise in class, but she is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand.

Race 6

AQUAE SULIS finished 2.2 lengths behind BELLA SICCOME last time. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The 6yo mare raced wide around the turn, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. She has won twice and finished third once from four starts over this C&D. With a bit of luck in running, she is capable of returning to winning ways.

GREENGROWTHELILACS dead-heated for third with the top selection last time. She lost a length at the start, but stayed on nicely at the finish. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.

BELLA SICCOME is a winner of her last three starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. 2.5kgs claiming apprentice Siphesihle Hlengwa retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.

Race 7

SPYDAS CORNER stayed on at the finish when third over 1100m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts on this course. Keagan de Melo steps back into the saddle and in this type of field, he can return to winning ways.

PUTINS PROMISE was in need of his comeback run over this C&D. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He will strip a much fitter horse today and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

NOBLE SNIPER ran a fair race in his stable debut over 1400m on the Polytrack. He has won twice from three starts on this course. The son of Noble Tune would have come on from the run and can finish in the placings.

Race 8

CRESTED EAGLE should have won his last start over this C&D as he jumped over an object that was lying on the track at the 200m mark. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off his back once again and with a bit of luck in running, he is capable of notching up his third career victory.

GIAMBATTISTA has good recent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. Apprentice Siphesihle Hlengwa takes the 2.5kgs off his back and he will be mowing down the frontrunners.

BLACKWHITEDYNAMITE was running on when second over this distance on the Polytrack last time. He is better suited to the Polytrack, but will strip a much fitter horse and should be involved in the fight to the finish
