RAIN WEAR has finished second in her last four starts. She was her own worst enemy last time as she overraced in the early stages. Stuart Randolph knows the daughter of Soft Falling Rain very well and if switching off early, she can shed her maiden tag.

MR GONZALES was unlucky not to have won last time as he had to be eased at the 1200m mark and was reported to have a mouth injury. The son of What A Winter won his only attempt over this C&D. He runs well for apprentice Jabu Jacobs and with a bit of luck, he should be the one to beat.

HAIL COLUMBIA is one of the better bets on the card. He should have finished closer last time as he had to switch at the 500m mark. He won his only attempt over this C&D. The son of Starspangledbanner should strip a much fitter horse today and he should take a power of beating.

 
Race 4: SEVENTH SONG (4)
Jockey: Moodley S – Trainer: Roberts M

SEVENTH SONG is still a maiden after 15 outings, but has not finished too far off the winner in recent efforts. He finished third in his only start over this C&D. If jumping on terms, he has a good chance of shedding his maiden tag
