MIGHTY MASHONA showed very good improvement in his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He moved up well, fought hard all the way to the line but found one too good in the form of Etiquette. The son of Master Of My Fate makes his course debut and if confirming his recent improvement, he should be the one to beat.
RUNAWAY SONG produced a promising debut effort over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. It must be noted that the form line has been franked. The son of Legislate would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be competitive.
ONE SHOT WONDER has finished third in his last three starts. He steps back over the mile and S’manga Khumalo may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

NAVAL SECRET finished 3.2 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today which is enough for the tables to be turned. However, MASTER OF DESTINY won easier than the margin suggests and he may still have the upper hand.
PAPA C did not get off to the best of starts last time, raced wide in the early stages and hung in the straight. He returns to Handicap Company and carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs. If jumping on terms, he should run a big race.

CHEWBACA has good recent form lines to his credit. He should have finished closer to the winner over 2400m last time as he hung in the latter stages. The son of Silvano should have no issues with the drop in trip and if keeping on a straight line, he may be the one to beat.
KING’S COVE is much better than his last start over 1900m on the polytrack. His penultimate run when finishing fourth behind Decorated over 2200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville catches the eye. Muzi Yeni steps back into the saddle and on best form shown, he should go close to winning.
LUCRETIUS ran a fair race in his post maiden debut over 1900m on the polytrack. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He is likely to have his own way in front and may be hard to peg back.
