Western Province started their campaign with a 48-36 bonus point win over the Lions in Cape Town on Saturday. Angelo Davids scored a hat trick of tries and Adre Smith, Chad Solomons, Hacjivah Dayimani and Deon Fourie also went over with Tim Swiel converting 4 times. They squeezed into the play offs before losing 48-31 to the Bulls at Loftus and their 2 match ups with the Bulls in in the regular season delivered a 48-24 win at Loftus (Bulls fielded a second string side) and a 34-13 defeat in Cape Town.

I got this game well wrong when I handicapped thinking that Western Province may be favourites and the Bulls would put out a weak side. This Bulls side is anything but weak though and the money has come flooding for the Bulls with the Handicap out from the early minuses to the current 9.5.
The Conductor wasn’t confident in our chat this morning as he felt the value has been sucked from the market and I am going to take his advice here and place a points bet when we get them later today.
The points line is 60.5 and while a point or 2 higher than I had hoped I am taking the Bulls over 34.5 points at 17/20. As pointed out on the show the WP defence looks leaky and this Bulls team can capitalise
Bet: 4 units Bulls o34.5 points at 17/20 at Sunbet
