The Super Rugby Pacific season closes on Saturday when the Crusaders host the Chiefs in Christchurch and in our final blog of the season we look back at our semi-final bets, compare the early handicaps to my projections and keep an eye on everything betting related from team news to weather.
CHIEFS THE BUSINESS
Posted 20 June 17h03
Despite plenty more Crusaders punters crawing out the woodwork the money if anything has come for the Chiefs and there is not much 9/10 the -0.5 still on offer.
The points line is steady at 48.5 and its going to be cold, if I wasn't getting involved on the outright I would take under 5.5 tries at 11/10.
I am sticking with my original thoughts on this one though and am firing the Chiefs to make the Crusaders home plaoff record 31-1.
I will pop in before the game with any final thoughts.
BET: 5 units Chiefs win at 9/10 at WSB
KEEPING POWDER DRY.... FOR NOW
Posted 20 June 07h40
The line is stable at +0.5 Crusaders and points have ome in to 48.5.
I like the Chiefs here but sense support coming in for the home team and I am going to hold fire for now and hope the betting moves level or perhaps even Crusaders slight favourite.
I don't think the Chiefs will shorten further so I don't see a need to lock down a price.
