Outright Update

Stage 11 was a high mountain stage won by Jumbo Visma's Wout van Aert ahead of the Trek Segafredo pairing of Kenny Elissonde and Bauke Mollema. The GC riders filled the next highest placings with overall leader Tadej Pogacar, Uran, Carapaz and Vingegarrd all given the same time though it could be worth noting Vingegarrd distanced all his rivals on the final climb before being reeled back in on the descent. Ben O'Connor lost major time.

As far as the overall standings are concerned Pogacar remains in yellow with Uran +5:18, Vingegarrd is +5:32 and Carapaz +5:33.

Mark Cavendish leads the Points Classification with 218 ahead of Matthews 160 and Colbrelli 142.

Quintana leads the KoM with 50 points, van Aert has 44 Michael Woods has 42

Stage Profile

The stage is just shy of 160km long with a Cat 3 climb situated around half way and the intermediate sprint is located just 25km from the finish. One potential hazard not shown on the profile is if the wind gets up on the exposed sections.

The Verdict

The betting suggests a bunch sprint and that may well be the case but the breakaway could still be a threat if some quality riders get in the right move. Two men who fit the bill for a break are Stefan Kung and Brent Van Moer.

Don't forget the money back special promotion for a second place finish and also the option to bet in play.

Bets: Stefan Kung at 33/1

Brent Van Moer at 66/1
