Outright Update
Stage 12 was won by Nils Politt (Bohra) who's team maate Peter Sagan abandoned the tour before the stage started. Politt won from a breakaway ahead of Imanol Evriti and Harry Sweeny with our tip Stefen Kung (33/1) finishing 4th having being dropped in the last 20km and Brent van Moer (66/1) was 8th.
Other than early crosswinds it was as near to day off as the peloton have had and as far as the overall standings are concerned Pogacar remains in yellow with Uran +5:18, Vingegarrd is +5:32 and Carapaz +5:33.
Look out for our GC (Without Pogacar) betting where Vingegaard is currently the 11/20 favourite
Mark Cavendish (6/10) leads the Points Classification with 221 ahead of Matthews 162 (7/1) and Philipsen 142 (11/2)
Quintana leads the KoM with 50 points, van Aert has 44 Michael Woods has 42

The Verdict
This is another interesting stage as it is certainly not pan flat, it is pretty long and there could be some cross wind action. I suspect that the Quickstep team will try and set Cavendish up for the win but they probably won’t get much help in chasing the break and I give the break around a 25% chance of succeeding.
I am going to got for one man who could win from the break and another who looks well priced should it come down to a sprint finish.
Don't forget the money back special promotion for a second place finish and also the option to bet in play.
Bets: Cees Bol win at 33/1 – the price suggests he may not be there at the end but if there is a bunch sprint I think he will contend.
Turgis win at 50/1 – from the break
