Outright Update

Stage 19 was won by Matej Mohoric with a super long range solo from the breakaway, Christophe Laporte and Kasper Pederson filled the minor placings.

The GC came in way back with the likes of Mark Cavendish and the overall standings are unchamged;

Pogacar remains in yellow with Vingegarrd +5:45, Carapaz +5:51. Rigoberto Uran totally cracked so Ben O Conner is fourth +8:18

Mark Cavendish leads the Points Classification with 304 ahead of Matthews on 269 and Colbrelli on 216 and with a sprint in Paris to come Cavendish looks set to win the green jersey competition.

The KoM competition is led by Pogacar with 107 points ahead of Wout Poels 88 and barring accidents Pogacar is set to land 3 jerseys, yellow, polka dot and also white for best young rider.

The Verdict

This is the second ITT of the tour, the first, on Stage 5 was slightly shorter at 27.2km and it won by Tadej Pogacar who was 19 seconds ahead of ahead of Stefan Küng and  Jonas Vingegaard was third.

Pogacar does not need to take risks and I think that Stefan Kung who was runner up in the opening TT can get his win.
