Outright Update
Stage 8 on Saturday was won by Dylan Teuns Tadej ahead of Ion Izaguirre and Michael Woods. Pogacar put serioes time into his GC rivals and takes the overall race lead over from Mathieu van der Poel. Geraint Thomas and Primoz Roglic were in trouble early in wet and cold weather.
As far as the overall standings are concerned Pogacar leads with Wout van Aert second +1:48, Lutsenko +4:38 and Uran +4:46. Pogacar is now as short as 1/10 in the outright betting to win the GC.

The Verdict
Pogacar was unbelievable yesterday in what was a brilliant stage but sadly that may mean his rivals will now be focusing on podium finishes. This will likely go to the break and I am going for 2 riders who have shown decent legs and will likely be in it.
Bet: Ben O’Connor at 14/1
Bet:: Sepp Kuss at 33/1
