In Ligue 1 it's tight at the top and PSG have Lyon and Lille for company. They haven't been anything like as dominant as usual with 5 defeats in their first 25 league matches although 6 wins in their last 7 suggest they will still take all the beating in the French domestic title race.
There was a memorable Champions League knockout tie between these sides in 2017 when PSG won the first leg 4-0 in Paris and Barca were 6-1 winners in the return at Camp Nou to pull off an amazing turn around.
The Verdict
The form of both teams is generally on a sharp upward curve so it's no easy call. PSG are without Neymar and di Maria, home advantage could also be the decisive factor and hence slight preference is for Barca to edge it.
