Matchday 3 for Uefa Champions League Groups E to H takes place on Wednesday night and we take a look at selected matches including Chelsea's home game against Rennes and Basaksehir v Manchester United
Group E
On Matchday 1 both games in this group finished all square but last week Chelsea emerged as 4-0 winners at Krasnodar and Sevilla edged out Rennes 1-0. Our focus on Wednesday is the game at Stamford Bridge.
It took Chelsea a while to get on top of Krasnodar but they were very comfortable by the finish and they followed up at the weekend with a 3-0 Premier League win at Burnley. Rennes were competitive at Sevilla and they conceded the only goal of the game came just after the break. They might live to regret dropping points at home to Krasnodar in a 1-1 draw in the opening round of group matches as another defeat here would leave them with a mountain to climb to finish in the top 2.
After drawing an earlier home game (0-0) with Sevilla Chelsea could really use a convincing display on home turf and this looks a good opportunity. Odds of 7/20 for the home win guide me to the goals markets and I'm banking on Chelsea to cut loose and score at least 3 times.

Group F
Lazio and Club Brugge have 4 points in this group, Dortmund have 3 and Zenit have yet to open their account.
Dortmund are trading at around 13/20 for their trip to a Brugge side who have so far won 2-1 at Zenit and drawn 1-1 at home to Lazio. After losing their opening group match 3-1 at Lazio, Dortmund were 2-0 winners at home to Zenit. They ought to have enough to win this but my betting interest in this group comes in the other match.
Zenit simply can't afford to lose again whilst Lazio will see this a good opportunity to consolidate their top 2 position. Lazio won a Serie A game at Torino by the odd goal in 7 at the weekend and they have kept just the 1 clean sheet in their last 7 outings across any competition. I'm looking for over 2.5 total match goals here.
Bets: Zenit v Lazio over 2.5 goals at 17/20
Group G
Barcelona made it 2 wins from 2 when they beat Juventus 2-0 away from home on Matchday 2. That leaves Juve in second spot with 3 points whilst Kyiv and Ferencvaros have 1 point each. Wednesday night's fixtures see Barca host Kyiv and Juve go to Ferencvaros and the 2 big guns are predictably short prices. Ferencvaros lost 5-1 at Barca and then drew 2-2 with Kyiv. They should be up for this crack at Juve and if they can score at Camp Nou (albeit in a hiding), the price for both teams to score here does make some sort of appeal.
Bets: Ferencvaros v Juventus both teams to score? (yes) at 13/10
Group H
Manchester United may be showing some very indifferent Premier League form but they are going really well in this competition. They top this group after a 2-1 win at PSG and 5-0 hiding of Leipzig at Old Trafford. United visit group outsiders Basaksehir on Wednesday whilst Leipzig host PSG.
Assuming United oblige for odds on backers they would have 9 points and with a return home game against their Matchday 3 opponents to come. That would mean the Leipzig v PSG clash is very significant in terms of the race for qualification spots. Both these sides have 3 points a piece and PSG, who were 3-0 winners when the teams met in the UCL 2019/20 semi final over 1 leg in August, get the vote to come this latest test with maximum points.
Bets: PSG to win at 12/10.
