The R100 - R100000 Challenge

The R100 - R100000 Challenge

The R100-R100 000 Challenge

Start with R100 in a pot and put a 1.1 or 1/10 bet on daily. It should take 73 days to reach R100000. No strict rules except you should use your full stake every day! Which means the R100 you started with then all accumulated winings added to the pot every day, which you then stake on the next 1/10 then the next and so on...
Also you could start with R10-R10000 if you just fancy a bit of fun with a lot less risk!

If you start with R100 just bet purely on 1/10's.. these are your winnings...

10 wins: R250.93
20 wins : R670.25
30 wins : R1740
40 wins : R4520.23
50 wins : R11730.58
60 wins : R30440.48
70 wins : R78960.16
After your final 3 bets you will win the grand total of R10509.80!
(Obviously quicker when throwing a few 1/6's etc in there)

Thats the basics but we are doing anything from 1/6 - 1/10, Only solid bets we are 98, 99% sure of! Absolute CERTS well near as damn it, Obviously nothings 100% but we'll do our best to make the most of the odds we've got to play with!

THE BET FOR THE DAY IS POSTED ABOUT 12 LUNCH TIME EVERY DAY!

We (everyone involved) look for games the day/night before then I post everyones choices (only the serious suggestions that most people I think will like) either the night before or in the morning the next day, and we choose one or two max depending what there is on that day. It doesnt have to be just a team to win don't forget you could pick a team with the draw aswell (double chance). Or a team to score over 1.5 goals like United if they were playing Notts County in the cup, Or a handicap eg. Ipswich +3 Goals against Birmingham @ 1/6 (Which we used and it won easily (11-11-12), Draw No Bet, Over so many corners, ANYTHING you can think of that looks CERTAIN. Theres LOTS of options (markets) in a game and we find THE best ones for the day to TRY and guarentee we win!

Is anyone In???? smile

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Luke interesting post and not unlike what I attempted in the "Buying Money" thread a while back. I am hectic at work this week but let me give further though and I will get back with final comments over the weekend.

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Sounds like a plan.

I would like to propose a bet: NZ vs Zim ODI. NZ are 1/10 to win?

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

To get a 15/10 return you have to play 10 times meaning you would have to find 10 winners for a 15/10 taking into mind that there are no guarantees. I just think it would be better to look for solid winners at decent odds in that way by rotating your stake plus returns you can reach the 100 k mark faster. The only problem is will you be able to bet 50 k in your last bet at say at odds of 1/1 to reach your goal of 100 k. Anyway it's a good concept and all the best Luke.

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Thanks Brent - Would appreciate your thoughts and advice especially - I think it could really work, if not - would be fun - possibly propose 3 or 4 1/10 punts per day and everyone that is in votes on the most appealing one smile

No harm in trying, but as D-Truth mentioned the bets might become a bit large toward the end.

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

i`m in!

however not so easy to find 3-4 everyday, been looking and it seems like maybe 2-3 a week come out.
To be honest seen as though this is a prudent strategy it makes more sense to hand pick the bets?

You guys agreee?

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Hey Guys,

I have been looking around now too.  I'm not sure when you want to start with this, but for tonight I found Leinster 1/9 to beat the Scarlets at home.
Leinster don't lose at home and have named a very strong team.

For the weekend I think we might find one or two in the FA Cup, Liverpool and Chelsea are at home against lower league opposition and Tottenham is away to Stevenage.  All three these sides will be going for it as its the only realistic chance of silverware for them.

I hope this is in line with the objectives of the thread

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Come on guys! Get real! Here's a real way to make money, find 7 football matches that you think will draw and then take a 7 leg acca with them. For just R100 you stand to win over 200k. With this method you don't  have to wait months for results (there is also a chance of a major upset in sport) where as you can play this and get results in a couple of hours (example english football on a saturday).

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Some nice posts on this thread but I think it will be really tough to run both in terms of selecting which bets to place and also trying to find a bet every day.

It has given me an idea for a comptition though - I am thinking everyone starts with an imaginary R1000 with the idea of making it into R100000 by betting on "sure things"

We can run the comp over say 6 months and to avoid some guy bagging a 100/1 winner we will say that the odds must be 5/10 or lower.

We can put up a prize for the first person to make it or perhaps more likely the person who gets the furthest.

All bets will be posted on the relevant thread and players must track and post their own progress.

Any thoughts?

Re: The R100 - R100000 Challenge

Hi Graham - Thanks, Good Idea Yes, I'll Gladly Participate in the Competition smile

I'm on my 14th Progression and Going Strong with the Sure Bets, Can Leave it Up to the Participants of the Competition if they really want to place the bets , would be great to discuss it too smile

Let us know when we can start posting our bets, possibly one midweek and two on the weekend? smile

*Also, although I enjoy the website I think it would draw more interest, interaction and comments possibly hosting it on Facebook? Facebook has a cool "voting feature" where by everyone can vote on the "sure bet" of the day - What are your thoughts?

Enjoy the Week Ahead Gents!

Thanks,
Luke
