Midweek footy picks, w/c 6th Feb

Preview of tonight's Liverpool v Spurs game......going with both teams to score (y) and Gareth Bale ATGS

Perth Glory win 3/4
Perth Glory lead @ half time 5/4
Overs 2.5

Monday game just brought to my attention. 4th place Perth are the form team of the league won 4 and drawn 1 of last 5. They beat bottom placed Gold Coast 2-0 in Dec - who have nt won since boxing day picking up only 2 draws since. I expect the home team to win again.

HT Perth Glory Lead 1-0 dominating half 61% possession and missed a few chances for further goals.
13 shots to 3. 8 shots on goal target for the Glory.
Shane Smeltz of Perth Glory (9 goals in 17 games) really should have scored guilty of missing several chances hitting post I like him to score next goal 11/2

I suggest the odds against offer of Perth Glory to win second half 21/20 bet 365 is a player

8 games unbeaten now for the Perth Glory.
Liam Miller (ex Man U and Celtic) ran the show got the second (I wrongly tipped up Shane Smeltz)
I can be quite cautious with what I go for in bets. The handicap market would have made more money.
Similarly not taking Wolves outright on weekend.

Look forward to Liverpool Spurs later- great preview.

Liverpool v Spurs

Could be quite taxing for Harry Redknapp and spurs tonight.
Apparently coach is not making trip up there as cant get a flight in time.

Odds have dropped on liverpool to odds against. Gerrard and Suraez in squad. Stevie G expected to start.

If the news that VdV, adaebayor defoe and lennon all injured and not starting then Liverpool have a great chance.

Bale is best option for any spurs goal. Saha expected to start alone up front.

I like Liverpool to be leading @ half time and for them to score both halves but await confirmed team line up before making these bets.

Taken liverpool ht/ft. Correct score Liverpool 1-0 and only one team to score. Also took granada draw/granada. Both to score and correct score 1-0. Tried various doubles on both matches.

Didn't watch the game last night but very surprised to see a 0-0. I was way off the mark.

Middlebrough v Suinderland cup replay, not all that keen on this but will go with Craig Gardner as 1st goalscorer

Odds moving in on Sunderland and by kick off will be odds against.

For me I expect another heated encouter but latest team news for Boro dosent look great. Striker Emnes likely to be out along with defo absentee top scorer Mcdonald, 32 games 11 goals, Fa Cup 2 app 1 goal. Barry Robson who scored screamer at staduim of light battling to be fit as well as Belgian midfielder Haroun who was physical presence in first match.

Sunderlands expected midfield McClean, Gardner, Colback, Larrson have enough to take on Boro in the 90 minutes.

To keep my interest in the match i'm taking
Red Card 9/2
Penalty awarded and scored 9/2
Anytime own goal 8/1
All with will hills

My own goal shout is based on Boro have already conceded 2 ogs in games in 2012 yes they were away from home but in both cases under alot of attacking pressure which I see can again occur esp with EPL players like larsson mcclean and gardener. These 3 are quality with crossing/shooting/set pieces.

Fingers crossed it makes the game interesting one to watch with these bets let me know if you follow me in ...
