Super 14 Week 6 - Early Caps

Super 14 Week 6 - Early Caps

Here is how I see it ...

Blues +3 v Brumbies
Bulls -12 v Canes
Crusaders -25 v Lions
Highlands +3 v Sharks
Force +12 v Waratahs
Stormers -10 v Cheetahs

Crusaders, Reds and Stormers top the handicap covering tables with 80% each. Force are bottom with 0%! So if you have gone against the Force each week, you would have won all 4 bets!!!

If Im watching sport, I might as well get paid for it!

Re: Super 14 Week 6 - Early Caps

Pretty similar, just the Blues and Highlanders games slightly different.

Highlanders travel back and the Sharks will be targeting this as a MUST WIN game, surely they have to come right? Its a worry as its a Springbok front row that should dominate in the S14! I will take the Sharks on any + this week.

Knowing Mbet and their alligence to the Stormers ... reckon they will have the Stormers -18 today wink

I actually agree with you on the Sharks and fancy them to win but reckon the home team will start narrow favourites.

All eyes on Mbet

Re: Super 14 Week 6 - Early Caps

They are up:

Blues -2.5
Bulls -15.6
Saders -32.5
Highlanders +2.5
Force +14.5
Cheetahs +10.5

Main differences with me are Crusaders and Force games but hard to have any faith in backing Lions or Force so at first glance nothing really jumps out at me

Feels like the Christmas where you get the bicycle you wanted ... buts its oversized, has a basket and pink tassles  speechlesssmiley

Taken some of the Force and Canes, Force have to improve and its a home game. Cant say I will rush to a TV screen to watch that one though!!! If you offered me Canes +15.5 for any game at the start of the season I would have jumped on it, Canes are not a bad side and the Bulls tend to leak a few tries. 15.5 seems high ...

Re: Super 14 Week 6 - Early Caps

It is hard to justify backing the Lions on the handicap after their 61 point defeat at the hands of the Waratahs but 32.5 is a very large start.

Looking back the Crusaders have never beaten the Lions by more than 31 points with their home games against the Lions showing the following points difference:

25, 28, 4, 31, -1 (yes the Lions have a win there) and 20

Not sure if Crusaders are going to rest players this weekend but I would not be surprised if they are at less than full strength.

Despite those stats it is really tough to back them but I have taken a small double:

3 units Lions +32.5 and Force +14.5 at 2.6/1
