Midweek PSL

Midweek PSL

I concur King, well done to Zim but you have to question WIndies and its sad to see them in such a state. Thought Chanderpaul would see them home but there is very little back up for him and Gayle when Sarwan and Bravo are not around.

Credit to Zim they were made up and rightly so.

I got really interested in cricket when WI were really strong and spent a bit of time out there, I can't understand where it all went wrong but on my last visit the kids were playing basketball not cricket. Although he is not the greateast cricketer, I like Darren Ganga as a skipper at least in limited overs games. He was great with Trini in the T20 champions league and can't help thinking he should be in charge and just let Gayle play his normal game without the pressure of captaincy.

Was that half a million win or place on Lucky Dan....?

Re: Midweek PSL

Good find there---we need decent handicap betting on the soccer.
Locally there's  Bet Tech starting up too, maybe they get a hold on
Soccer Handicapping.

Re: Midweek PSL

I don't agree Hanrick. The players are all profesional sports people and make decision that will increase their future wealth.  Of course all the top players are going to want to take part if millions are on offer! In many instances the players themselves also don't know how to pace themselves- all of them want to play all the time. But come the Tri-Nations (or World Cup) someone like John Smit or Victor Matfield will have played this tournament, 14 to 16 Super 14 matches and the in-bound tours.

I also feel that we will see even less of the Springboks in the Currie Cup if this tournament goes ahead. Think about how a rugby player's year looks: This tournament will run in January, in Feb the Super 14 kicks off and lasts till May. Then the inbound tours starts at the end of May and finnishes when the Tri-Nations starts. Tri-Nations ends in August and then the Currie Cup is already in full swing. So September and perhaps some of October is spent on the CC and then the out-bound tours run from October till end November. Thus the only time Smit and Matfield won't be called apon is December! I bet you the end result will be the Boks touring at the end of year with a second rate side as the top players will face burnout risks bt this time.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with a new different format or tournament, but somewhere, somehow the players' health and future must be considered. Scrap some inbound tours or shorten the Super rugby by using two pools, but you can't just add a new tournament to the already packed schedule...

Re: Midweek PSL

Thanks for the tip regarding the WP handicap Brent, thankfully they redeemed themselves from last weeks disastrous scenario. I can thankfully say they have restored my faith in them once again when it comes to aiding my pocket-much appreciated!  big_smile

Re: Midweek PSL

Thanks RuggaBugga,

I have an account with GreatOdds so will definately implement their services when it comes to MLB bets from now on. Thankfully they paid me out now after emailing a certain individual directly, all could have been avoided if they just did their work accordingly. Will most certainly look elsewhere and think twice before placing a bet with them again. Oh yes, Congrats RuggaBugga, your success rate at present is top notch!  big_smile

Re: Midweek PSL

shot Brent - I guess that's why the question gets asked every time it happens because we get different answers from different bookies.

appreciate your research will keep it in mind but I guess the moment the tie happens it's a flip of a coin afterwards and no use in complaining because it will even out in the long run , although I'm 3/3 with super over wins and still nothing so show for it   hmm

I don't think anyone checks out the rules of the certain bookie because you never expect the match to be drawn , but it might be worthwile for me doing it in the future - maybe we'll be able to bet on the draw in the near future . . . wink

Re: Midweek PSL

Really like the HT caps for weekend, going with treble -

Bulls -11
Province - 10
Sharks -2

Should be around 6/1, just waiting for 1 of the caps to be priced up with bookie.
