Pakistan v England

Pakistan v England

Had an early look at the test series and reckon England will find this tough,. Pakistan draw no bet in the series market is my pick.

Spent some time on the stats for the bowlers at these venues in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and Junaid Khan comes out very well. Problem is he wasn't used most recently in Bang, not sure why as I didn't look at that series. No idea if he is likely to start the first test but 7/1 to be top Pakistan wicket taker in the series caught the eye. If anybody knows anything about this young man and his prospects of playing in at least the first test please pipe up.

Was that half a million win or place on Lucky Dan....?

Re: Pakistan v England

7/1 for a guy whose been out 6 weeks with a slight tear of his abdominal seems a bit low especially if they waiting on his fitness to play in the first match. Would have still have backed him if he was 10/1 or upwards. Will  look for options in the england camp as i feel england will dominate most of play and pakistan grinding out for draws with that in mind most exotics bets will be on england and match result will be draws. Already taken series correct score 0-0 with wsb at 11/1 for 2 units and first test draw for 3 units at 13/10. Junaid Khan may be a better option for a top match bowler in the second or third test when he gets more match fit. Best of luck.

Re: Pakistan v England

Cheers DT, I didn't know he had been injured, I saw he was in the squad to tour Bang and thought they must have just loaded up with spinners in the starting xi. Perhaps best left alone in view of that

Re: Pakistan v England

Mackem that 15/10 Pakistan/dnb punt looks inspired right now, absolutely dominated England, two batting collapses from the worlds number 1 ranked team who looked severely under-cooked. Great call.

Re: Pakistan v England

Cheers South, wish I had gone outright series win although I reckon England will come back hard. The batsmen need to find a way of playing Ajmal by the next test though.

Re: Pakistan v England

amazing scenes in Dubai as England, needing just 145 to win in their 2nd innings, are being skittled, currently 71/8. Masterclass of spinning on show here and wicket turning nicely.

Re: Pakistan v England

Incredible, went out for lunch with England 21/1 needing another 120 or so. Pakistan draw no bet series punt lands but I'm amazed in the fashion it arrived today. 5 day test matches few and far between these days.

Re: Pakistan v England

Third and final test match starts Friday, my enthusiasm for this one is not high but conservative MoM picks Saeed Ajmal and Swann for interests sake.

Re: Pakistan v England

another incredible test match, really low scoring again, Pakistan leading by 25 runs with 2 wickets down in 2nd innings.

Mackem i think the Ajmal MoM is still a runner - know Rehman got a fiver in 1st innings, but Ajmal got 3 and he's going to have some joy with the ball in England's 2nd innings.

ODI series betting preview...................

I don't see why this should be any different to the tests, same venues and Pakistan have Afridi to spin it as well as Ajmal, Rehman and Hafeez. Pakistan to win the series for me.
