Some really nice racing today to watch.
Race 3 - Iphiko @ 6/1
Nicely bred and was backed on debut. Will give it another chance.
Race 4 - Forever Free @ 14/1
Favorite sounds like could be a good one, but I like this one on the breeding and with appie claim up the straight could surprise, was also backed in 1st run so must have been showing something.
Race 7 - Mind Reader @ 25/1 & Kwite a Trip @ 12/1
Mindreader - I really like, Holds the favorite on previous runs. If we ignore the last run. Also with top jock back up might surprise
Kwite a Trip - Doesnt look the stable elect with Syster up, but I remember stable thought quite highly of this one and on same run where Mindreader holds Alesian Chief, so does this one.

Race 8 Greyville, Retail Therapy, outsider of the party might be overpriced, some weight turnarounds on poly form.
Turffontein, always been a fan of Bard of Avon who runs in the feature, should be cherry ripe for this. Earlier in R4 Blackburn Jet at any price, decent enough debut, no show in second run but had the worst of the draw (1/11) and is drawn 11 today

Some nice racing tomorrow, I like the following:
Race 1 - Going Global @ 40/1 (Hollywood)
Never showed anything on debut and gets to jock up for stable he doesn't usually ride for. Worth a shot at those odds
Race 3 - Kooi Bakal @ 5/1
Race 4 - Barak @ 5/1
Race 5 - Supreme Quest @ 2/1
Looks hard to beat but will take swingers with SOuths fancy
Race 6 - Pyromaniac @ 9/2
Doesnt seem to like the soft going and based on previous runs I still like. Will take some of that as long as going good
Race 7 - Seeham @ 16/1 (Hollywood)
Backed last time and going to do again
Enjoy the racing

Turffontein Saturday, 2 for me
Race 8, Patons Tears (around 8/1), decent enough effort in Heritage lst time, like the price todaay too
Race 9 the 3yo's look hard to beat, of the 2 Hollywood runners I like Waya Yire (around 5/1), stepping up in trip, drawn 1

R2 Caruso 14/1 ew. Appie does well on joburg trips and yard had a nice midweek winner.
R5 Imbewu now 20/1 ew. Drifted a bit but still think a runner today. No harm at price.
R7 Seeham @ 16/1 ew. Also had a nibble this one last time like KT and if bring her a-game will be a danger today.

Happy New Year everyone, happy racing and looking forward to a good year, hoping to make Cheltenham for at least one day in March !!
Race 3
Like VD's fancy here , Flinders Range in a tough race.
Race 4
Smoking Hot in around 11/2 is my narrow first choice, Sparkling Water improving but stable suspect.
Race 5
I'll try beat the top two with Crimson Causeway at 7/1.
Race 6
Super Excited at 6/1
Race 7
Astrix narrowly from Golden Pheasant.
Race 8
Ideal Jet in a very open race 8/1.
Race 9
very open , Dark Travel though for the get out stakes ew .
Play well lads

Last day of leave and hoping for a better end to my holiday than the last couple of days.
Greyville
Race 1 - Exceed Expectation @ 9/2
Some really good Cape Form, running close behind Voldermort who Marshall stable rate Highly and a good 3rd behind Full House, with its other runs not been the worse form lines with otherr winners
Race 4 - More than a Dime @ 5/1
Drawn widest but a good mass. Will need to step up but a good last run behind Jacqueline. Scratched now but would have been 2nd fav probably
Race 6 - Rose Princess @ 6.25/1
I really like this one. Comes from some strong Cape Form lines. Ran 3.5l behind the top sort Amanzimtoti giving her half a Kg. She is now rated a 110, so 3.5l isn't to bad for a MR 72. Also dropped 5 points in ratings.
