Flicked TV on last night to see this game was on, think it was about 15min to go, Lions 33pts, easy kickable penalty. Changed channels as was injury delay, checked score later. How did Lions end on 33?! So stiff.

Have had a few weeks off all sports and betting but like a few in Europe today and will post later.

Was staggered myself....if they would have kicked a penalty..( they had 2 chances) then it would have been 15 points ahead, and would have wrapped the game up. It was a crazy decision...anyway

I couldn't believe that call (they turned 2 down I think) but even more amazed they couldn't score after that - I also lost my HT 08.5 tries which would have arrived with a Lions try but did take an in running call of Leinster 031.5 points which got some back. That also looked in trouble and that yellow card and Leinster try before the break was crucial although I have to say that Leinster team is amazing - one of the most complete performances I have seen.

Weather in Joburg has turned - really cold and some thunderstorms about, imagine Pretoria similar

Ah that's unfortunate. Checked Accuweather not too long ago and it looked like it would just be cloudy at best. Oh well. Might be even more beneficial for Sharks. Griquas probably confused by falling water as they see it so rarely.

It reminds me of back in the day when Robbie Fleck thought he scored and then Keyser caught him and the ball also spilled forward.

They need at least 2 points for home advantage - If equal on log points the game between the two sides that Auckland won governs as tie breaker

Any unsettled bets should be void Ruan, hard luck for the WP minus backers and those on Bulls unders, possibly fortunate for unders points backers although I suspect it still could have arrived.

That Robbie Fleck tackle by Kayser cost me huge on shirts as the game went backwards after that - at least that game was a dead rubber though

Currie Cup semi's and thinking of doing a handicap video tonight and will get the rugby thread for next week going early

2 - 2 weekend so far with Worcester winning outright being a 20 point underdog. Agen snuck home on the +33.5 and Scarlets losing late by 1 cost me a 3-0 day. Lets hope Glasgow (+8.5) and Newcastle(+17.5) come good for me.

Sportingbet has settled the game last night as void. Today they resettled it as a WP win. So it's a welcome bonus to punters who placed bets with them.

Had a stormer so far this weekend courtesy of Leinster and Racing wins.

As such bit loathe to get too involved today, so have scaled back stakes a bit

Castres + 14.5 @ 1.80

Also a double on the unders
Glos v Castre under 42.5 into
Toulon v Falcons under 49.5

Bit windy in Toulon and not expecting much from either team.
And don't think the rain in Gloucester will suit them much.

I had the other side of the Toulon game so nice easy win. Glasgow gave up so many chances for 3 points. Never understand why teams dont just take the 3 in first half to get within 1 score. This Sarries side is awesome on defence.

Ended weekend 3-3 with 2 1.5 point losses.
