The PGA takes place this week and I always enjoy the 4th Major although always sobering to think we have to wait until April for the Masters

Some of the top players are in great form and latest betting below

D Johnson 9/1
McIlroy 12/1
Thomas 14/1
Spieth 20/1
Koepka, Rose, Woods, Day, Fowler 22/1
25/1 and better the balance

I am hooking up with Brad Bernstein from Buddy Golf to preview the PGA Champs tonight at 21h00
The broadcast will go out live on You Tube but you will also be able to catch it later

Here is the link - you can set a reminder

Bet365 have a market on the Lowest Tournament Score to be 63 or better...which is 7 under. It was 13/10 but is now 21/20. The last three PGA's all hit this target. The weather conditions are perfect on Thursday and Friday/Saturday will have a thunderstorm or two to soften up the greens...again making going low easier. Sunday will also be perfect..Very little wind on any of the days...
They actually bet: 63 or under 21/20..{was 13/10)..Exactly 64 7/4 {was 13/8)...65 and over 3/1 (was 5/2)
I can tell you now that 65 and over is a 10/1+ shot....(personally any price....cos it wont happen..)
So basically it's 63 or under or exactly 64...your choice really, but I've had a lump on 63 or under at 13/10, but anything over Evens is a bet for me...
It's a Par 70 but the two par 5's will be reachable most days. They say the course will suit the bombers and if you keep it on the fairway....with distance...then you can play target golf
Anyway Bet 365 have cut the price on good scoring (i.e, low scoring) on the Cut Score...Players Under Par...and Winning Score, so there is reason to believe this will hold up

My,my... what a lively golf thread for once.
Definately my least favourite Major, but have had some punting success in the past.

Day - 20/1
Casey - 55/1
Matsuyama - 60/1
DeChambeau - 66/1
List - 100/1
Grillo - 160/1

DJ and Brooks just too short for me.

Apparently the course favors a draw off the tee so I'm going for:
Top: Justin Thomas 14-1 & Rory Mcilroy 12-1.
Mid: Bubba Watson 50-1 (2 wins this year, poor recent form though)
Outside: Snedeker 125-1 (3 top 10's in last 6 events, although 2 missed cuts in there)

Also a nibble on Matsuyama 66-1 (gut feel), Woodland 140-1 (decent form, big hitter), List 110-1 (ok form, big hitter).

Good luck.

The last few majors I have been playing the BuddyGolf game - R500 to play, all proceeds paid back as winnings, the US Open 1st prize was 80k - well run and the app is excellent with the leaderboard updating every couple of minutes

You need to enter through the app and only have a couple of hours but details here and I can recommend it buddygolf.co.za/

Cheers Matador, haven't been glued to golf like that for a while - Nice win Koepka and top 10 and 20 also arrive as did the 26/10 double although DJ had me worried at one point.

Love watching the Tiger charge and if I didn't have the Koepka bet riding would have been cheering for him
