First of all happy to new year to all of you guys and all the best for 2019!!

Gallagher Premiership, Guinness Pro 14 and Top 14 are on this week end.

Early call goes on Newcastle. It seems a bit crazy looking at the level the team is playing but I cannot believe they became that rubbish in few months. Home advantage with their synthetic pitch but also a bet against Quins that I don’t rate at all.

Newcastle @ 1.83

Interesting week this as we wait for the team announcements - Euro Champions Cup round 5 & 6 follow after this weekend, so wondering where more of the focus lies for some of the teams.

Rarely punt Premiership rugby but I'm interested in Sale +6.5 tonight.

Nice call on Sale there Shaft.

My main bet rather conservative is Cardiff Blues +11 @ 1.5
I like their line up, (especially they have essentially 4/5 back rowers in starting pack), just hoping they can find some consistency after good performance last week.
Smaller play on +6 also.

Lesser punts on:
Leinster -19
Munster win @ 2.2 (placed yesterday)

And in the Aviva:
Chiefs -18
Wasps -3

That is what you call cutting it fine

Kings over 12.5 points at Murrayfield 17/20 - not a full strength Edinburgh side - having a go

Kings beyond hopeless - I would actually prefer is they were 40 points behind as I really need the hosts to switch off

Actually had a small double on Edinburgh-24 and Munster over 22pts but confidence was shot after the racing results so didn’t post.

Going to stick that all back on Saints today. Wasps confidence looks shot of late, and Boyd coaching methods and tactics really starting to settle in now for Saints.

Saints +6.5 cap for me.

I initially thought that Northampton +6 was a bet but stumbled on an article and think that we might see a performance from Wasps today...that said not sure they can be trusted at -6....

I'll probably duck it...

Hardlines South, Saints poor today and not helped by even more poor officiating.
