Brisbane have been trying hard to come out of their unbelievable slump, the longest they've had.
They will try again at home tonight.
Victory are in good form, no doubt about that.
They will be without some first team players, including Honda.
Roar will have to attack and score, while Victory certainly have enough quality on the pitch to score themselves.
The hosts should be motivated to fight tonight.

You can still get 6/4 for Chelsea to Qualify. Away goals don't count this year and Kane, Son and potentially Lucas are out. I think Spurs are really up against it and am 99.9% certain this price will shorten, so get on now if you fancy it.

Quite some bad luck in yesterday's game, as Roar should have scored indeed.
The Mariners have been showing some signs of life and they need some luck to come their way too, as their recent results show grit and determination in this team. They lost 2-3 away to Wellington, after being 2-0 up at half time, then a red card followed by two penalties in quick succession proved crucial blows.
The round before they lost 2-5 away to Sydney, but again they showed guts and scored first.
Their coach, Mulvey, keeps working at their morale and they are convinced they'll get a much awaited win.
Now that Roar aren't getting points either, they have a chance to get close to them and overtake them in the race to avoid the wooden spoon.
The Mariners are scoring goals, and have a porous defence too, so I'm going again with a bet on goals.

Looks like more goals in the replay's and you get Stanley in the next round. Huge incentive to win this match. So over 3.5 goals and pick a winner

The Wanderers have many injuries, key players like Riera, Baumjohann, Bridge, O'Doherty are in the infirmary, while Risdon is out on international duty.
Given the circumstances, Babbel has been fielding youngsters and they made quite an impact. Although they haven't won in a long time, they are scoring goals and a win should not be a long way away.
Adelaide are playing well, they were just unlucky not to come out with a draw from their match in Sydney. They are 6th on the ladder right now, 10 points ahead of their opponents today.
The Wanderers will play with more grit and determination to get the win, as their coach insisted on them to play more aggressively.
Given their do or die situation, I expect the Wanderers to come out guns blazing, and I expect quite a few corners and cards as well.
The Wanderers' defence is quite leaky, so Adelaide should take advantage of that too.
Bet 1: Half stake for each of the following two bets

Wolves v Leicester
Home 27/20 Draw 43/20 Away 49/20
The reverse fixture in August was won 2-0 by Leicester. The idiot Puel fielded a weakened team against ManC B in the Carabo Cup quarter final and lost on penalties. ManC drew Burton in the semi's and Leicester feel they should have been at Wembley at end February. Puel then pulled the same stunt against Acc Stanley in the FA Cup. I think he has lost the fans and the players and Wolves should win today. The only downside is GG Gaming have offered a price boost on this match - Wolves @ 14/10 - and I see young Gary flies around the world and stays in posh hotels - definitely a shinier shell then yours truly. Still think I'll take the bet though
Wolves win @ 27/20 (Or clip Gary's wings at GG Gaming @ 14/10)
Bournemouth v West Ham
Home 13/10 Draw 53/20 Away 2/1
The reverse fixture in August was won 2-1 by Bournemouth. This is the kind of match where 1 goal is as likely as 4 or more. I usually go smaller stakes on bigger odds in matches like this. These sides have not produced a goaless draw in yonks. Their last match produced 2 second half goals and the last time at the Vitality they produced 4 second half goals. If you are forever blowing bubbles try
Second half goals over 2.5 @ 5/2
Manchester United v Brighton
The reverse fixture in August was won 3-2 by Brighton. I expect the Solskjaer bounce to continue and was thinking multi-scores 2-1/3-1/4-1 but Brighton have yet to lose by more then 2 goals this season. A more conservative pick
BTTS - yes @ 21/20

Newcastle v Cardiff
Home 19/20 Draw 23/10 Away 67/20
The reverse fixture in August finished 0-0. I expect a low scoring match here which is borne out by the odds on for both halves under 1.5 goals. Fancy the draw here but 23/10 a little skinny. Cardiff have racked up over 70% of their goals in the second half and I these odds look tasty
Match Flow - Newcastle/Draw @ 15/2
Southampton v Everton
Home 17/10 Draw 24/10 Away 31/20
The reverse fixture in August was won 2-1 by Everton who led 2-0 at half time. Southampton gave Everton all sorts of problems in the second half and were unlucky to come away empty handed. Fancied Everton here earlier in the week but their odds have dropped from opening at 7/4 to the current 31/20 - too short. Expecting a similar performance from Southampton today which makes the pick
Highest scoring half - Home team 2nd @ 31/20
Watford v Burnley
Home 13/20 Draw 61/20 Away 9/2
The reverse fixture in August was won 3-1 by Watford. This is not the same Burnley team of earlier in the season. They are much more like the Burnley of 2017/2018 ie very hard to beat by mid table sides. I think the odds on this match are wrong and the draw at over 3/1 is worth a sniff. My pick though is
Burnley D/C @ 5/4

No Kane or Son. Ranieri has toughened up the Fulham defense so looking to set piece goal from Spurs ( and he probably gets penalty duties without Kane ). One of Mackem's favorites
ATGS Eriksen @ 2/1
and a few beers on
1-1 and 2-1 to Spurs at around 37/10
