Australia v Windies
Two matches at this ground produced vastly different total runs viz 213 and 682. Probably wise to avoid any runs bets. Some big hitters in these sides and Windies spin attack weak so quite fancy the single over score at Sunbet.
Highest single over score
Over 18.5 runs @ 19/20
Top Bowlers
Australia Zampa @ 7/2
Windies Thomas @ 7/2

Having another go at unders on sixes. Australia vs India under 11.5 sixes at 9/10. India not a big six hitting side and their bowling attack is very good so should restrict the Aussie batters.

It's not often that bookies price up to your advantage. In todays game I believe the patriotic punt has been factored into the betting and SA are generally 8.5/10 with the Windies available at evens in some places. How SA can be anything but underdogs in this game on current form is beyond me and I have had a proper bet on the Windies to assist SA say farewell to their chances in this tourney.

As you go through life it’s a long, long road. There’ll be joys and sorrows too

really doubt game will happen today as rain forecast. This time of year the rain goes sometimes as quickly as it arrives especially near coast, but the temperature is well below average for this time of year so it won't dry up very quickly.

www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gc...C.C.&date=2019-06-10

I've got 5 tickets for family and currently on way to work instead. So from a selfish point of view, hoping it doesn't get to 15 overs per side as ensures a full refund.

Sadly that would be 1 point for SA and it might turn out the weather is sealing their fate on this tournament and not the Windies (who i'd also fancy to win if the game went ahead).

Another wash out for today and sadly i can see many more happening unfortunately. The weather forecast over here for June is absolutely shocking and we have shed loads of rain coming our way for a good while yet! Bookies should be offering markets on games to be completed yes or no at this rate haha!

Bangladesh v Sri Lanka (Tuesday 10.30am)

I like Bangladesh in this one. Not impressed with Sri Lanka at all and their collapse against Afghanistan who have so far proved the weakest team in the tournament is a huge worry for everyone concerned. Looking at the Bangladesh batting markets two players stand out for me and they are Tamim at 3/1 and Shakib Al Hasan who played a great knock against England and is 10/3 on Bet365.

Bangladesh to win 4/6 Bet365
Tamim Iqbal top Bangladesh Batsman 3/1 Bet365
Shakib Al Hasan top Bangladesh Batsman 10/3 Bet365

India v New Zealand (Thursday 10.30am)

Going to stick my neck out here a little bit and side with New Zealand at a very tasty price. This one is being played at Trent Bridge and conditions will be right up with the bowling attack of the Kiwis which will be overcast and grey which should really play into the hands of Trent Boult and co for swing bowling.

Shikhar Dhawan is out of this one with the injury picked up against the Aussies on Sunday which means a re-jig at the top of the order and no doubt KL Rahul will open with Sharma but either way barring a slight batting wobble against Bangladesh the Kiwis have not put a foot wrong and have a very solid ODI record in general. New Zealand will prove a tough nut to crack and might just catch India a little cold here.

New Zealand to win 7/4 Bet365
Trent Boult Top New Zealand Bowler 3/1 Bet365

There were 29 fours in SA v Afghan so the fours line of 44.5 depends entirely on who bats first. Rain predicted for late afternoon so presume England will ask Afghan to bat if they win toss. Root has 279 runs with one 6 so far which means the line is probably right - just does not feel like it

Interesting to see India are outright favs on some books now, WSB have them 19/10 and England 2/1.
