All Racing Tips w/c 20th May

GR1 racing on Sat, look out for ALRAMZ 12/1 in the 2yr old race, i think he's a huge runner.

Scotsville lads , used to be one of my best meetings with the old Smirnoff sponsored sprints .

Race 1 . A poor start to the day , 5 runners , top 2 from Joburg . Formlines indicate the betting is correct. I'm gonna have a nibble with the 7/1 Anika the Angel .

Race 2 . Sovereign spirit beaten hot pot last time, when a poor 5th. Being backed again and should improve with that last run under the belt , open race however and I'm looking to row in with a horse I been waiting for What a Blast , 12/1 , top jockey on board but drawn wide.

Race 3 . GG's Dynasty was a gutsy winner last time, a tiny horse. It's open tough with some good horses running . I'm leaning towards Walter tHe Peniless at 7/1.

Race 4. Another Fourie runner for me, Winter Blues , dropping down the merit ratings , the race is open but at 12/1 and 5/2 a place a narrow first selection ahead of American Hustle at 11/2.

Race 5 . First of the features , Basadi Faith goes for 5 in a row but this will be a tough test . Miss Florida looks to improve plenty and I like the 14/1. Also like the stable mate , somewhere in time at 8/1.

Race 6 . Frosted Gold came right back to best last time , worthy favourite. I like Cartel Captiain at 8/1 and Master Jay at 12/1.

Race 7. I like Snow dance here and hope she can regain her top form , she looked top class a while back but at 33/10 it looks a little tight . I'm going for Temple Graffin at 14/1 . Anime my huge roughie at 40/1.

Race 8 . I'm going Under Cover Agent at 11/2 , top class horse and hope the draw isn't a negative , my other fancy is Mardis Gras , drawn worst but needs the rail to perform at best.

Race 9. Tough race to end it all but like the Tarry runner Before Noon , some money already from 7/1 to 9/2.

R4 Mac n Scar 14/1 ew. Lightly raced and should strip much fitter.

R5 Naoshima 17/1 ew. Not a bad effort last time and might prefer this testing 1200.

R6 Alramz.

R7 Celtic Sea 12/1 ew, think will like drop in trip.

R8 stick a pin, Dutch Phillip 17/1 ew after good last effort.

Race 3 - Riga Dóro
Not a bad win last time out and had some decent runs over distance earlier. Think could be a bit under rated and good draw and top jock

Race 4 - Will follow South

Race 5 - Rio's Winter @ 30/1
Decent last run in Jhb and not disgraced. Good first win and was backed in previous run so must be showing something at home. Also like What you are from Spies yard

Race 6 - Master of Illusion @ 14/1
Decent run last time out againest African Warrioir. Think fav is hard to beat but will take swingers with Master.

Race 7 - Mighty High @ 7/1

Race 8 - Van Halen @ 20/1
Course and distance winner and suited. First time in while had light galloping weight so like.
Palace Chapel @ 33/1
Last run was very good over the 1000m, but all wins over 1200m so giving him a try.

Kenilworth
Race 5 - Lesedi La Rona @ 10/1
Ran againest some decent sorts earlier in career and I think 1200m ideal distance. Gets 4kg's from fav on last run for 3.25l beating.

Race 6 - Coral Bay @ 11/1
Had some really good runs earlier and beaten fav previously. Any sort of return to form should go close.

Oh okay, yeah I couldn't understand the objection, for me any interference was by the 2nd horse Caviar.

Yeah with the draws I have written off some of my bets now, really disappointing considering Grade 1's been run and only draws 1 to 8 stand a chance. But hey thats KZN racing these days.

u so right , why cant they get it right grrr i'm on under cover agent at draw 13, just hope he uses him up to get across as he has the staying power .

How good must frosted gold be to get that close up the outside.

I thought Palace had snuck it with 100 to go and then the outside demons came back to bite me. LOL. Wasn't meant to be.

caught a couple of nice pick 3 dividends , but didnt get too involved , rugby was too intense grrr
